I see that the Italian magazine Panorama runs an exclusive story about Monaco making a move for Lukaku They have an exclusive photo of Lukaku's agent meeting with one of Monaco's representatives to discuss the move. The photo was taken before Monaco's friendly against Parma, yesterday. They say Lukaku is their 1st option. The 2nd one is Icardi. This is the article http://sport.panorama.it/calciomercato/Il-Monaco-in-Italia-per-Lukaku-e-Icardi I don't know what to think - I thought that Lukaku's agent is Christophe Henrotay. Or Mino Raiola. Now Panorama says it's Oscar Damiani Jr.

So Zouma is staying - that's good to hear. Haven't heard Jose mentioning Loftus-Cheek in any of his comments tho - he is one talent Chelsea can't waste. Does anybody know why he's doing the pre-season with the U-21, instead of being with the big boys?
-
Schneiderlin, Rodriguez and Fonte on their way too. When it rains it pours.
-
So that's €84m spent on a very good player, Alexis, a decent right back, Debuchy and two back up players in Ospina and Chambers.
-
His agent confirmed he has rejected the Sunderland move to stay at Liverpool and fight for his place.
-
Atletico shaping up nicely ---------------- Oblak ----------------- Juanfran Miranda Godin Siqueira ------------- Tiago Gabi ------------- ------ Griezmann Koke Turan ----- -------------- Mandzukic ------------- One good midfielder next to Gabi, a proper back up for Mandzukic and some other two or three decent players next to Thiago, Mario Suarez and Alderweireld on the bench and they're good to go.

Lovren is a decent CB, but you would expect more knowing Liverpool's defence was utter shite last season. And Champions League is coming. I would have expected them to aim for defenders like Benatia, Garay or Mangala, guys who would have an instant impact on a already horror defence. But for all the "biggest club in the world" bollocks and the other things they are bragging about, I think those guys (and others too) would have rejected them, so in the end you can't blame them for signing Lovren. Enrique - Lovren - Skrtel - Johnson. All this after having all the money in the world to improve your defence.

Here we go... How long will it take for someone to link him with Paris again?

Very impressed with Cesc, Diego Costa, Zouma, Ake. Well done Chelsea. Good win
-
What a wank.
-
Bring on Burnley!!! my pal is ready to take the league by storm Vamos Diego
-
UNBELIEVABLE FFS
-
wtf has happened? why is that dissalowed?
-
Zouma is a monster in the air
-
Cesc is a breath of fresh air for this team, he'll assists a lot of goals this season
-
Oh, Mata with a beauty too.
-
Rooney with a great goal against Roma. But they've been very poor so far, Roma with tons of possession.
-
No way Jose is starting the season with Diego Costa, a 36 yo Drogba and a useless striker that can't score for his life.
-
Jose Fonte on his way to Cardiff too. Hard times to be a Southampton fan. Really feel for them.
-
No. Just go back to the main menu, load the CFC save and he'll be healthy as a horse again.

I think she was referring strictly to the best five leagues in Europe. The chances for Chelsea to get United/City/Arsenal/Liverpool/Spurs in between a Champions League tie are bigger than Madrid to draw Barcelona or Atletico. You can also have something like Arsenal on Saturday, Borussia on Wednesday, United on Saturday and Borussia on Tuesday. While Madrid will never get such fixtures. Spanish federation and other leagues also allow their teams to postpone games, a thing that the FA never does. They only allow you to move the game by a day, at the very best. So yes, there is a bigger chance for other leagues to have more teams in the final stages of the European competitions given their level of competitiveness and schedule.

Courtois is in safe hands, even if Lollichon leaves. Silvino Louro is a top coach too. He and Lollichon are two of the best gk coaches in the world, if not the best. But he won't leave. Courtois needs the best gk coach in the world in order to become the NO.1 gk in European football and Chelsea knows this. Plus he is the best paid gk coach in the world here.

Luckily for him Marcos Alonso won't come back to Sunderland next season, so the left-back spot is up for grabs. Good luck Pat!

If it's Drogs coming off the bench in the 75th minute instead of Torres, then so be it.
