  1. I don't think sacking the manager with only 2 months to go is a good idea, what difference will it make.
  2. This game will either magnify or shatter his confidence.
  3. Its either Ivanovic, Malouda or Drogba for me, all three been exceptionally well all season.
  4. For the good of Turnbull no goalkeeper could of saved that cracker from Parker so lets hope he does not beat himself up on that. And despite not having to do much, he did what he needed to do and looked much confident in the air then Hilario or Cech a few months ago.
  5. This is the business end of the season, we have to put the 1st team on all the time because there is no room for slip up... Plus, if he came on everyone would say its a disgrace that he would only get 5 minutes of playing time.
  6. Tobe honest no goalkeeper in the world could of saved that goal, at the moment I am happy with the performance so far and see no reason why to panic.
  7. For gods sake why does Ballack have to play, he will just slow down the midfield, we saw last time against stoke that the midfield works much better without Ballack, as Frank made a brilliant impact to the field then recently.
  8. In my opinion, even though Mikel does has some flaws (that can be faded as he is still very young), he seems to be a scapegoat every time something goes wrong.
  9. The important thing is that we have to get behind him, remember Marco Ambrosio? A third choice keeper that at first made stupid mistakes when given a rare chance in goal, but then gave solid performances when the two keepers ahead of him were injured and help us get into the semi finals of the Champions league when Claudio Ranieri was in charge.
  10. http://news.bbc.co.u...sea/8564881.stm Wow... that was abrupt, I can see everyone panicking now. Although the good news is Yuri will be back from injury.
  11. Well, the thing with sexy football is that with most teams (especially Arse) its pleasing on the Eye but gets you nothing, thats why West Bromwich Albion got battered into relegation.
  12. And this match shows us why Alex should partner up with JT, rock solid back line, with a full back (Paulo) playing at full back.
  13. Now this will test us, very tough opponent and no more home fixtures.
  14. Not been brilliant in the reserve recently.
  15. Kakuta is living on hype at the moment.
  16. Team selection as follows; Chelsea: Hilario, Ivanovic, Alex, Terry, Paulo Ferreira, Malouda, Mikel, Lampard, Anelka, Drogba, Kalou. Subs: Turnbull, Joe Cole, Deco, Sturridge, Matic, Kakuta, Van Aanholt.
  17. http://www.goal.com/en-us/news/85/england/2010/03/07/1821801/report-Chelsea-chase-landon-donovan-as-manchester-united-eye http://www.soccerbyives.net/soccer_by_ives/2010/03/reports-Chelsea-eyeing-donovan-move.html
  18. Horrible news, but brilliant for Ivanoiv, he has the whole season at right back.
  19. If Bobby Zamora can be in brilliant form all season and still gets overlooked by Heskey, then there is no chance of Cole going to the world cup.
  20. I bet one of our players gets a long-term injury... well if its Ballack (never seems to be) then I would be happy.
  21. Now all we need is Ballack to go and it will mark a great occasion for Chelsea
  22. Didn't David Busst break his tibia and fibula aswell, he couldn't play football ever again, hopefully that is not the same thing for Ramsey
  23. Rooney asks England fans not to boo Terry during next England match http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/8542190.stm Unfortunately I don't think the Rooney loving media will listen to him this time
