Lukaku has some boundries of skill, his finishing has potential is somewhat not brilliant. He obviously has strength, and can use that for when he charges onto balls and what not. From what i have seen in videos, i can see that he likes to make attacks fro himself skilling on players - which sometimes works and sometimes does. You can see the resemblence to Didier, but he is built to much to be next 'Drogba', but he has the ability to become himself with his own assets which can be improved by working with Drogba.

Rather have Betrand or Patch as back-up

Surely with the injury it means he couldn't pass any medicals if we do get a deal? Or does it? I remember Villa signing Downing when he was injured when he was at Boro, surely we could do the same? You know what. Let's not bother signing any young prospect! They all could be the next Carlton Cole or Emile Heskey. We should use Lampard, Drogba and co for the next twenty years. Because, every youth player has to be like the other youth players that we had that turned out not so great!

Too bad injuries ruined his chances here. He showed, at times, some slick skills but the injuries did over-shadow that, and he did never seem to be fully into the games when he did play. 13 million isn't a bad price though, and i hope we can use that in signing his replacemnt on the wing, on someone like Mata.
