It would be alright if the attack had something, but it doesn't. Anelka + Kalou = No Attack imo.

You can call him a fringe player, but for many on here - or maybe just me - he was the man of Pre-season, he showed how much of a threat he was and was continously making attacks out of nothing. If you want someone that can make the team better not in the team, then surely you are deluded. I would rather have Benayoun as a first team starter on the left wing then Malouda, or on the right instead of Kalou.
