If Mata and Torres can play a whole 90 minutes together, then i think they would be deadly! Sturridge has the talent to be someone you can rely on to do something whenever he can, he has the dribble, he has the power but he also has the confidence. If AVB decides to play them all up-front, i think Daniel's natural confidence might be able to shine onto Torres, which might actually be the final third he has been missing lately.This front three is way more sustainable in thought and in potential then Drogba and Torres would have been - they are all-out attackers. To be honest, Torres this season hasn't performed badly, but just hasn't found the 'it' factor. He hasn't even played a full game for us either this season. And like i have said time and time before, i will back any person working for Chelsea Football Club no matter what! And even IF there are certain personal that might not be 100% on my team sheet every game, i can always see the merits they have (never mind the faults!), but i firmly do believe Torres can do well if we can find that 'if' factor. The factor, whichnis missing in the whole team so far this, is not just attacking wise but defensive wise also.

The problem with Mikel and his role is that in the three games already, we have seen that the back-line has been caught many times with the high-line defence, and he comes back and helps out as a third centre-back. If you replace him with someone more offensive, we could potentially see more scary moments in games, because we have to rely on the speed of the full-backs and/or centre-backs. Mikel has some speed, and does press players well IMO.He breaks down attacks, and sometimes starts attacks. Yes, in the last few games some of his passes may have been array, but his mindset has been dented with the kidnapping of his father! Unless Ivan, Terry and the full-backs get used to the high line, then i think Mikel's defensive role will come in handy. If not, then we should ditch it. I have always wanted Mikel to be more offensive, but with Rambo and Frank, we don't need - or the mindset is - any more offensive midfeilders. If AVB decided with a 4-3-3, with a midfeild shape of two DMC's - one defensive and the other offensive - then that could unleash more danger (Ramires's speed is one factor at times). Miereles powerful shots could be a large factor, but, we would have to rely on Lampard playing behind the striker, which i don't think he can do anymore. If he played in the offensive midfeilder role (like he did in pre-season), he could be more harmful (he can still find a pass now and then) and play Mata/Miereles behind - but, Lampard has stated he doesn't want to play in that role again, another problem.

If he can add somethign to the midfeild then that is what matters! The fact that we paid on 13 million is a plus, but if he became a big part of the midfeild this season then this could potentially could be the buy of the season!

Sturridge is such a brilliant person. A person which, if we sell him, will not say something against this club, but if he did leave, the board needs shooting! He is the perfect role model of the young English players looking to make the mark at this club - a glimmer of hope to fans also. Come to the end of the international break, i really want to see AVB playing him on the right instead of the trio of choice (Kalou, Malouda, Anelka).

I do not see any disrespect in the fact that I want a player who isn't performing to the task, to be changed to someone who can be a better choice for the squad and to add to our midfeild.

I am somewhat hesitent to what kind of system AVB will look to play now - but - it is nice to see a new face into the club that won't be going out in the next 24 hours on loan. Would have been wonderful if De Bruyne could have been the player who could have been our creative speark, or even that Yossi was.
