I am stilla firm believer Torres can find some kind of form and start knocking the goals in. His confidence has to blossoming after the CL game, and maybe he can finally be able to step up to the plate. Drogba hasn't been the beast he has been reknowned for, for a while for me - including last season. But, i believe, he can be another threat. The statistics might be alarming, but we have to also acknowledge it is still early days for the season and the new system that AvB is trying to incorporate - which we have slowly shown to be filling in!

Do i want more players that orignate from England? Yes! Do i want them to be like Carrol and Henderson and over priced? No! Do i think that IF AvB decides to bring in some new home-land talent, he would bring in the right kind? Yes! There are a large number of options we could have bidded, as well as still.

Emotional for me

My interest left when he left Never looked the same back from injury, wanted too much money for form he wasn't on, and then insulted the clubs by stating Liverpool was a 'proper' club (something along those lines). He was once, one of my favourite players - but i think his career is all but over in the limelight, think he will go abroad permanently for a couple of years, come back to England for his final years and become a pundit and act like he was the dog's bollocks. I wish him well on his career downfall. :giggle:
