I am stilla firm believer Torres can find some kind of form and start knocking the goals in. His confidence has to blossoming after the CL game, and maybe he can finally be able to step up to the plate. Drogba hasn't been the beast he has been reknowned for, for a while for me - including last season. But, i believe, he can be another threat. The statistics might be alarming, but we have to also acknowledge it is still early days for the season and the new system that AvB is trying to incorporate - which we have slowly shown to be filling in!

My interest left when he left Never looked the same back from injury, wanted too much money for form he wasn't on, and then insulted the clubs by stating Liverpool was a 'proper' club (something along those lines). He was once, one of my favourite players - but i think his career is all but over in the limelight, think he will go abroad permanently for a couple of years, come back to England for his final years and become a pundit and act like he was the dog's bollocks. I wish him well on his career downfall. :giggle:

If we can sign one more midfeilder in January, and maybe one more winger (for depth rather then needs), then we have a seriously solid team! Maybe finally, Chelsea has gotten a firm head on transfers? We are strict with contract's and older players, so maybe we should have a similiar set-up with certain players. I mean Raul was a back-up for Modric, and he has been sublime for us so far. Maybe with AVB we don't need to worry about 'rushed' buys

There has been improvement this season when compared to last season - and like most. i bleieve Torres's Chelsea career started against Stoke. We are molding into a new system, have a large amount of strikers and are still building a team understanding, due to Carlo's succesful shadow. Torres played brilliant for me against Leverkusen, and now he ahs played a full 90 minutes and connected well with the team, maybe that could boost his confidence and add that depth that he has been missing.

Danny boy, was superb throughout! If he didn't how why he is an starter, i don't know what else he could do more! Biggest threat throughout the match, and took on the defenders in order to find space when marked. He truly is the only person for that right wing. Only thing i can say he should do more is connected with Bosingwa, like Mata did with Ash and Anleka did when he came on.
