I think Guus will come back, like what many has said, in a more higher tiered role. I think AVB could be our 'Fergie', as we funally have someone who is a great manager with a technical prowess, but also with the potential to improve evn more in the future. We clearly have given him something during his time with the 'Special' era, but i don't think AVB has that much Jose-esque to him. I think Jose did a really good job in building the team but with a large financial gain, and i think AVB will be the person who will recycle the old bones and bring in the new parts. Jose might one day come back to England, and if he did, it would be most likely a Manchester based club. But, it won't matter, because we have the 'The Group One' and he will mae his own 'Special' team. Lukaku, Romeu, McEarhan and Sturridge are only the basis we can see now, and as much as i love Hiddink, or Jose, i think i would trust AVB with introducing the younger players then Jose! -
Next on the campaign wheel - Steve for Leg-end!

TX FOR LEG-END!

Happy Birthday Steve :dude: Here's hoping Torres can score you a celebratory goal

Well at least Wneger's signings would be 'foreign' signings anymore

He hasn't even played 90 minutes this season! He has been playing well, but AVB has been idiotic in terms that he hasn't given him the chance with a full game! He seems to not like playing strikers for full games, and the fact it's only been a few game sinto the season should be another factor. We have more options - which he hasn't played with yet - which we should have lowered, We have SIX strikers! We need to let go the likes of Anelka, Kalou and maybe even Drogba in the summer. Torres for me, has only 'just' signed for me. This is a new season, a new manager and a new way of playing - not even the team has bounded to AVB's style of play yet! Granted -- the reported words he has supposedly said were a little 'betrayal' to his team mates -- but hopefully it was a mistranslation. The problem for me is that without Lampard's finally attacking prowess, he doesn't really have any positive support from the midfeild that previous forwards have had. Look at Miereles's pass to Sturridge, superb! Now, if he can do that for Torres with both Mata and Sturridge on the left and right flank (which i think won't happen as AVB sees Danny as a full-on striker), we could have a deadly attack. But, unless we can fully work as a unit in the same universal language, then we won't be getting 100% from everyone!
-
Hope AVB uses him as a right-winger that cuts in, with Mata being the support and Torres in the middle. Unlike most pessimisitc members, i believe, if that frontline plays a WHOLE match, all three could have a defining factor with one another!
-
Not that it means much for him. He ebelieves the world is going to end in 2012, so this is the final ever season in football. Here's hoping Torres can at least score five goals before Judgement day
-
I'll wait till he has actually spent more then half a season here before considering him a flop

If we can succeed in winning the FA Cup, and/or the League Cup and mounting a serious challenge for the title - i would be content. We are seriously going through a transitional peroid, which started so long ago and hasn't really been added till AVB came. I am 100% AVB could be the perfect leader for our future young squad, he is the brightest managerial prospect out there, and i think he is more technically sound then Carlo and can see problems when they are emerged - after all that was his job for a very long time, when he was here! He has already shown he is ready to face the bull in order to get the best of the team - subbing Kalou only on 31 minutes, and playing Anelka before Torres. Even though MotD would rather blab for 15 minutes of analysis of how 'great' Mancini and SAF are, they don't highlight the impact AVB has already - with even Terry saying he is better then Jose! If the words of him being a long term manager despite the factor of success in his tenure is true, then maybe we have finally hit the nail in the head, and found the true person to be the image of the club in a managerial aspect instead of players. The next stage of the transition will start in the summer, with some members leaving and some maybe coming in. Although, in my opionion we should have started a lot earlier to bring in the new faces, i am pleased that finally maybe we have found someone for longer then the six month span previous managers have had!

Morality would exist without relegion, and i see religion as something to which we can try and fill the void of the circumstances that we are not yet able to comprehend. But, it is the arrogance and mainly the ignorance of men, or usually one man with power, that leads to the deaths of innocent lives -- not a religion themselves. What is the killer, the gun or the person pulling the trigger? Heaven and Hell - to me it doesn't really matter about the afterlife, because i have a life still to lead - unless something says otherwise.

I was 8 was oblivious to it all -- i was at my mates, just playing innocently as it was reported in the background. I have always remember feeling really disturbed by it, even though i didn't really understand what had happened. I think it all clicked in the next day at school having a minute silence. Really disturbing. As for the London Bombings, i was at school and read about it on the BBC website -- i was literally speechless and i think i wept a tear.

Mata Torres Sturridge - a dream team?
ZanSnake replied to termninja's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
If Mata and Torres can play a whole 90 minutes together, then i think they would be deadly! Sturridge has the talent to be someone you can rely on to do something whenever he can, he has the dribble, he has the power but he also has the confidence. If AVB decides to play them all up-front, i think Daniel's natural confidence might be able to shine onto Torres, which might actually be the final third he has been missing lately. This front three is way more sustainable in thought and in potential then Drogba and Torres would have been - they are all-out attackers. To be honest, Torres this season hasn't performed badly, but just hasn't found the 'it' factor. He hasn't even played a full game for us either this season. And like i have said time and time before, i will back any person working for Chelsea Football Club no matter what! And even IF there are certain personal that might not be 100% on my team sheet every game, i can always see the merits they have (never mind the faults!), but i firmly do believe Torres can do well if we can find that 'if' factor. The factor, whichnis missing in the whole team so far this, is not just attacking wise but defensive wise also. -
He did! ....In the reserves
-
We already know what will happen, the media will overhype our chances, and the team will not perform and then the axe begins to fall. It is the same vicious cycle

The football Journos are like dung beetles choosing the largest piece of shit over the other, and then having the right to gossip about the less 'significant' pieces of shit on a piece of shit paper, or on a webshite.

We would be fucked on the counter attack
