Official: Carvalho moves to Real Madrid

I wonder if this means that Ferreria is going to stay then. Ivanovic might be used as our second or even third CB then whose is going to be our second RB if Bosingwa (i hope it doesn't happen) get a small injury and Ferreria is sold/injured as well. -

Thank you Riccy for a great service, and i hope the best for him in the la liga. A great player he was for us for the six years he has been with us, and i am proud to have seen such a great defender play in a Chelsea shirt. But now we have to look for the future. I think we will either try to use Hutchinson in that role with injuries to Alex and Ivanovich or Bruma is going to get some more playing time then we had hoped before. I think that with Riccy going Ferreira is going to stay, either for until he will retire or for one more season. Either way, it looks good for the defenders of the youth team can have a chance to make a bigger mark onto the team. And, so i say again, thank you Riccy for possibly one of the best defensive partnerships in the last two decades. -
If he is going anywhere, it seems he is Man Ure bound. All the sources seemed to have indicate that Ferguson is going to bid for him, and shit like that, but oh well, would have Matic have bigger part in the team then.

Agree 100% All the goals Kalou has ever scored was because either a: of a defensive mistake or b: they are tap ins. What Chelsea need and already have is players that can score inside AND outside the box, like Anleka (the goal against Arsenal in the 4-1 comes to mind), like Drogba (has skill to past defenders, and is one of the best in the world), and with the way he has shown, like Sturridge, who is skillful and has shown his shooting boots in the goal he scored against Ajax. Sturridge is a way forward, Kalou is backward. Kalou is for teams like Aston Villa as a striker and is even worse as a winger. Kakuta has tremdous skill, like he has shown in the Euro U19. My team would be: Cech Ivanovich -- Bruma -- Terry © -- Cole Essien Lampard -- Malouda Kakuta -- Sturridge -- Zhirkov Sturridge or Drogba to start, but with Didier coming off at the hour mark.

amires is coming, i think it's the fact he is included in the Brazil team which is delaying the final stages of the transfer. Might also be awaiting the response for the work permit, which i am sure he will get (especially with Hernandes going to Man Ure). And an attacking Essien would be a beautiful thing to see with Lampard also going forward, it all equals more goals.

May be frustration over the Barry saga which he still had, and which seemed to have rekindled with Milner. In someways, i would have done the same thing, the fact that you are willing to fight for the best possible position but your top players keep leaving, how are you meant to fight when you have no say if the player leaves or not? The matter of the fact is that it is a repeat from last year, and it seems it's just the same thing going on and on and O'Niell probably felt that instead of staying in a club where a player leaves after having a succesful season, he can go to another club where he will be able to keep his star players and build the team for the best possible team with them included.

Dissapointed, but it was going to happen with such a disatrious pre-season. He was a very good player when he played here in the Crystal Palace game, and he has talent. But i guess this could help mold for Kakuta to be brought in (now if we sell him, then i will lose all hope in youth in Chelsea!).
-
He has PL experience, is young only 23 and is a homegrown player. Hilario is most likely to be retiring at the end of the season, or so we hope, and that leaves it to Turnbull who i think shouldn't even be here anymore. Begovic seems like a good signing imo, and there isn't nothing wrong with having him here and we could make him into a household name.

Franco Barini? Borini! And i hope this foreshadows to a future game for him, 2 goals on his derby debut start against Man Utd. KTBFFH! -
According to Wikioedia he has already joined us, actually said we had him when the window opened! Why not just use him for a couple of games?

I don't see any problem, that is if we get rid of Hilario. But then again with Delac coming in (whenever he is as it seems no-one knows when!), do we need the extra number passed this peroid of time.

I think he needs to know what a goalkeeper does first....

The best thing to do: kiss up to Term ass. Well done! Anyway, Kaka isn't needed in my opinion if we want to use our youth. McEarhan, Matic and Kakuta before Kaka IMO
-
I want Chelsea to carry this pursuit and get Lukaku aswell. Neymar and Lukaku would be the only signings i want in the next 2 seasons. Of course, Aguero would be a plus but i don't think Chelsea realise how much of a fan favourite he is here. Kalas, Lukaku, Ramires, Neymar = Good Looking Potential CL winners! for the future for me.
-
I hope to hell that Kalou isn't going to be played tomorrow. Kakuta is the way forward, not Kalou or Anelka.
-
I guess he lost a bet about how long he could tolerant staying in the penalty box in training for untill he would drift to the side.

Lampard unhappy with England friendly timing
ZanSnake replied to BlueLion.'s topic in Matthew Harding Stand
i think everyone in the whole of English football is thinking the same fricken thing but yet the FA are blind to see anything with the problem. -
Source: SkySports In my opinion, i hope that he doesn't go anywhere and Carlo gives him one more chance. In pre-season he showed me class and dedication to do well for the time when he was on the feild. I say give him one more chance here at Chelsea then at some loan team. But, if he shall leave, then i hope we can milk as much money for him as we can. But like i said, maybe that dedication is something we would need in the last dying minutes of a game for a final attack.
-
I think Carlo see Patrick as a better prospect then Bertrand and for that reason, that is why he has been given a short stint, in order to try and show his worth. In the short amount of time he has in Nottingham, he can show Carlo what he has got when Carlo has seen it in pre-season and compare to see if he has developed due course of that time peroid. Personally, i don't see any chance of Bertrand in the Chelsea side due to the talent that Van Aanholt has.

Daily Mail with there usually bull shit !

Dissapointed in the lad, and i am somewhat sad to say this, but Franco hasn't got the skill now to be at Chelsea. Has the potential to go far under the right manager who has time for his development, but that isn't the kind of club Chelsea is now. Same thing with Carlton Cole (who i don't rate though), should have kept Nouble instead, but may aswell sell and give someone younger to be on the list for example Lalkovich, Tore, Mitrovic, etc.

good to see a fricken signing for once. Ramires welcome!

Ancelotti plans on more signings for Chelsea

I would be happy to see either Agureo or Neymar, but i would be really estatic if we had Lukaku, even if we had to wait a year before we saw him in a Chelsea shirt.
