That is because the type of forward Lukaku is. Lukaku is a powerful striker like Drogba, he is still very young, i think he will be awesome when he gets going. Neymar is a good player but he is not the type of player we need, we need fast out and out wingers and a playmaker. Neymar is a wing/forward and we don't need that, i would rather have Hazard then Neymar because he has more pace and direct dribbling ability like Robben. Brazilian flair players only have 2-3 years then they lose everything, Kaka, Ronaldinho, Robinho, Adriano, Elano, all these players had very limited amount of time in the top of football. Name one Brazilian player who remained fantastic for more the 3 years ? There is something wrong with Brazilian flair players because they have a very short expiry date.

Anton Ferdinand is not black, he is mixed race like Barack Obama, we don't have the one drop rule here in the UK. John Terry is not a racist he is far from it and Paul Ince is right. JT has been surrounded by black players during his Chelsea years and i have never noticed him favoring players based on colour in any situation. He spent most of his youth years at Chelsea being trained by Marcel Desailly and he is just a cool guy. Welbeck and Cleverly have both played a high amount of games already this season and they are youth products. Liverpool have Martin Kelly who has broken through and Jack Robinson will break through too no doubt. Arsenal have Wilshire and Gibbs who are both first team players. Man City even have Micha Richards lol ! Spurs have Kyle walker. 1 homegrown player makes a world of difference, it is a sticker on the club saying made in Chelsea. We are the only top side without 1 homegrown player who has not made a break through in the last 3 years. Why are all these teams breaking youth talents through and we are failing why ?? we have spent millions on our academy to get fuck all and it winds me up. Liverpool have not spent a quarter of the money we have spent and Jack Robinson at the age of 17 has played more first team games for Liverpool then Bertrand who has experience has played at 22 !

The thing is though Josh will have missed nearly 6 months of football by the time the next transfer window comes about. He has hardly played in the reserves and when he has played he has looked rusty like no other according to the people who watch our youth games. Chelsea youth system is fail and we all know it, Man utd could implement O'shea and Darren Fletcher despite them both being average players, we cant even give an expierenced young player who has played in Anfield and old Trafford for reading ( Bertrand). Ashley cole will play the whole season without rest and Bertrand will be chilling on the bench with Josh.

I think we have to face the fact that there is no point for us having a youth system anymore. Young players will not get an opportunity at this club because there is no time for them. To keep up with Man city and Man utd we will continue to spend and we will continue to marginalize our youth players. To be honest i don't even think Josh McEachran will break through now, AVB will most probably be a 1 season wonder and another manager will come in and then shun our youth because at this club unless you win the CL or the PL by a country mile you get the sack.

Yes but his presence is still huge in our midfield, he is like Patrick Anderson when he played for Barca. He follows instructions like a robot and he has a good awareness of what is around him. He can switch the play quickly and he is terrific in terms of positional play, even if he is at 80% he is our best midfielder next to Lampard. You could stick Essien on Modric tomorrow and he will cut him out the game and that is something you don't lose no matter how many injuries, his ability to identify danger zones is incredible. Villas Boas will be over the moon when he gets him back because he is a solid player who works very well with Lamps. Yes last season he was not playing that well mainly because Carlo was using a diamond formation which Micheal has never used, Lamps did not take to it like a duck to water either.

I was in the sauna in a gym in London back in 2006, there was around 5 people inside. We can even have debates before and after games against Liverpool or United against opposition fans if we want. We can invite a few knowledgeable sensible united fans to debate after games, i would love to do it. I think we should start our very own Talkchelsea Blog TV. After some Chelsea games we all get on Blog Tv and discuss the game in depth, 1 person can host it via a web cam he/she can express his/her opinions while reading what the audience think. He/she can answer the questions posed to him/her by the audience. We can have live Debates before and after the game between 2 people. I think it would be fantastic and we would get huge amounts of interested people. You don't have to have a web cam to engage in the live debate you can just have a mic but one person has to have a web cam. The rest are just the audience with a messaging service available to them so they can ask questions on certain tactics players or whatever. This would be fantastic, i think Jimmy would be the perfect person as the forum owner to host the live shows. We can just have it for 30 mins after games. http://www.blogtv.com/

I remember when i got in an argument with a fellow Chelsea fan in a sauna about that very opinion. Carvalho was better then Terry and he made Terry look better then he actually was in reality. Terry has his limits but his limits were Carvalho's strength's and vice versa but carvalho's reading of the game was second to none, he along with Makalele made us impossible to score against.

Brilliant Analysis Tomo. The only thing i would add is Torres, he had one of the biggest shockers i have seen in a Chelsea shirt for a long long time. He was hiding the whole match, he bottled it and people have not noticed because he did not get involved in the game at all he was non-existent. At least Danny was receiving the ball then giving it away, i would rather a player do that then go through a whole 90 mins in hiding. The fans only noticed he was playing when he got caught offside in the 70th minute and that is shocking. A game as open as that and against a German defender who was playing terribly for Arse , he should of had a field day. Mata and Lamps were playing well behind him and he had no excuse that was shocking and the sad thing is people have not noticed, its almost as if he was stealth or he was camouflaged.
