Bluelion must of been like 12 when we were all on the last forum lol, season 04-05 was just incredible on the last forum lol i still remember after we won the league at Bolton and the match thread was on fire lol. I have family in Texas, i'm a fully qualified electrician but finding consistent work here in the UK for my sector is near impossible despite having some very strong leads in the industry because we simply don't build enough new infrastructure anymore. I've been working for my mother in her restaurant for a few years now and its just getting a little demoralizing because i'm a newly qualified electrician doing low skilled work in a restaurant. I thought that after i am fully qualified i would get work left right and center but even the people who promised me a placement are struggling severely. I am really thinking about leaving the country for pastures new !

Hazard should never play CAM in his whole life. He is more similar to Aaron Lennon then a playmaker, he is an Aaron lennon with skill and an ability to produce. Mata should play behind the striker with Hazard and Sturridge flanking !

Drogba played well, other then Sturridge he was our best attacking outlet. He played with his back to goal and he was actually fighting for the ball something defenders hate. He is our number one forward at the club and he has got to start, we seen him starting to heat up against Liverpool and that goal against Leverkusen was coming and what a goal it was.

All these bloody Torres FC fans are getting on my nerves. As if Torres would of played as well as Drogba today, Drogba played in a key over the top pass to Sturridge for the Mata volley. He also flicked the ball on to the onrushing lamps for a header which Lamps should of scored with his pedigree and he scored a magnificent goal. He played well and he is the best forward at the club despite his age. Torres is fucking shit at the moment and he should be on the bench.

We actually played well and we did not deserve that in the end. Drogba is starting to motor now and we can expect a powerful winter from him leading into February. Sturridge played well, his pace and vision absolutely cut the Germans open. Mata is starting to struggle though, i think the pace of the premier-league games are starting to take its toll on the little number 10.

Exactly ! We all still get down a little bit but at the end of the day those players don't really know us or really care about us. If i died today Drogba or Lampard would not know that i have left this earth, my friends who support Liverpool or Man utd would.

Football is irrelevant when you take a lot of things into consideration to be honest. A lot of people make football their bread and butter, its their life and i just think that is sad. I don't even get that angry anymore when Chelsea lose to be honest, football is just a sport.

McEachran is not getting minutes this campaign even though i wanted him too because he is actually creative. That does look a good side though on paper !

lol we don't keep the ball as much as Barcelona, you can play a high line if you have the technical players to actually keep the ball high up the pitch meaning you are putting them under huge amounts of pressure.

@LDN we never expected him to kick out the old guard and he never so we cant call this season a transition because most of the players who have such a holding over the club are still here. I admit i never wanted to see Drogba leave but i have to admit we have to do it for the greater good because he actually played well yesterday and that will kick Torres's confidence that he can't even displace a 33 year old targetman.

Exactly we are not even in transition, most of the players that played today have been here for years and years. If we had a new team then we would be in transition but we ain't.
