To answer the question i think we suffered a fate that many people did not realize when Maka left the club. Drogba will be a huge player to replace, Cavani could probably do it that is why i would sell Torres in January and get Edison Cavani in the club.

@Warnie Drogba contributed to our success in the first 2 seasons and his second season was actually really good. He was the top assist maker and he was a pain in the back side to play against with Lampard behind him, do you remember when he destroyed liverpool at Anfield 4-1 he was involved in all 4 goals. Drogba and Lampard together were unplayable in his second season also Drogba was a young 27 year old, he became a pro at a later date the Torres.

I agree Tomo, he's shit and i would rather think we spent 73 million on Mata it makes me feel so much better . The fact that Andy Carroll is shit makes me feel a bit better too !

Drogba has played 12 games he has scored 5 goals and he has got 2 assists. Torres has played 17 games he has 4 goals and 4 assists . In all comps !

The thing is i think Torres and Shevchenko both had the same problem, they have a striker in Didier who is so complete in terms of what he can offer us that they both were always going to play second fiddle. Torres will be on the bench a lot this season. I think Torres will probably leave in the summer, Drogba will go to africa in January and Torres will probably score a few then when Drogba comes back he will be back on the bench.

Sam why don't you appreciate the fact that he assists goals dude ? He was the second highest assist maker in the league despite having a ''poor season'' it just shows how much of a monster he is ! If you told any other rival supporter that despite your Centre forward having a poor season he will directly contribute to the second highest assists in the entire league they will bite your hand off. Drogba's game is not only about goals its about bullying defenders and creating opportunities for others which is why Lampard has loved playing alongside him. Drogba has averaged at least a goal or an assist in every premier-league game he has played for this club. Torres is garbage and he always will be !

@Sam Drogba got 13 goals plus 17 assists last season meaning he had a last third production rate of 30 in 46 games which is fantastic. Torres has been a complete waste of money and waste of time !

The only young forward thinking player who i think would probably be debatable with Studge at the moment is Neymar. The only reason is because Neymar can offer a dangerous impact through the middle or on the outside just like Danny, Pato and Benzema are still only fundamentally through the middle. Benzema is a bit useless to be honest, he has a good touch and strength but he is a bit too much of a liability in certain area's such as being a constant threat. You always feel he could control the ball and score but there is nothing else other then the odd dribble after that, he's too one dimensional. Pato is superb at doing a Micheal Owen, meaning making a run at the right times but his physical and mental fitness is terrible. Pato will be finished very soon trust me and the sad thing is he is only 22 ! I can't see him being a decent player at the age of 28 years he will slowly fade out, to be honest with you though football is not really that much of a big deal for him.

I don't think he will go back to Barca Ollie i think he will look at the situation and see Sergio Busquets is a well integrated 23 year old in a well oiled barca side. He has got to think in a logical way !

He is very selfish but he can easily improve on that. The fact that he is now checking onto his right foot just gives defenders another problem lol as if they need more problems with this boys pace and skill. I think he is much better then the other young forwards around his age like Pato and Benzema. Javier Hernandez requires too much of the teams resources to even compare him to Sturridge. The England national team would be stupid not to take him to Euro 2012 because he is much better then Downing.

@Kostas the way Ramires blasts forward from the middle without the ball gives us another dimension and the opposing team a huge problem. He just makes the run and players actually have confidence that he will out sprint the defender, yesterday he actually ran around the defender and scored his pace is just mental.

Josh would be perfect in that playmaker role but i forgot lol he's too young ! I think its crazy, Josh would open so many doors for us because he is really talented he is getting less mins every season lol. I don't care if he is 18 years old he is creative and that is what we need with all this pace !

I think he should be moved into the middle too but do you think he would be too deep if we did shift him in the midfield ? I can't see us playing a Number 10 because the 4-3-3 is working fine at the moment,I think a midfield of Oriol, Ramires a playmaker with Sturridge Didier and Mata up top would be awesome. I really hope we buy a playmaker in the winter window because if we do then i would be very confident leading into the last half of the season ! That extra playmaker would thread our fowards in more often because too much is being asked of Mata in a creative standpoint. I really believe if we get someone like a Modric in then we would come very close if not win the CL i really believe that !

I think this is one of the quickest Chelsea sides i've seen for a while ! As soon as Mata receives the ball he just threads it through to Danny who is one of the quickest players in Enagland. Danny seriously needs to start passing the ball, he is taking too many shots and its getting on my nerves a bit even though he is quality. This type of game suits us to the ground away from home, we have so much pace now even Ramires is waiting for the counter attack. If we get a clever midfielder then we will be the best side in the premierleague, someone a bit better then Raul who can pass the ball with variation. The new crop of players like Mata, Rami and Sturridge will eat teams on toast away from home its just that at home we need that lock picker in the middle !

I love these crunch all or nothing games at the bridge ! Adil Rami is a strong centre back but is he strong enough to cope with Drogba ? We have got to watch out for Roberto Soldado because he has good movement and with Costa in midfield he will be a constant danger. Costa is a wonderful midfield technician he has brilliant vision and our midfielders have to make sure he does not have too much time on the ball because the little Argentine is a magician.

Dalglish is actually doing a good job taking into account the rubbish players he has got at his disposal. The only players in his team that would even have a chance to get into our side would be their keeper and Suarez.

Yes they are different one of them tries hard but is just so limited and the other is signing football contracts while knowing he does not have a cat in hell's chance in playing a game because he also is prone to mistakes. There is a big double standard here and they know it. I remember in 09-10 when we won the league and we seen very little of him all season and he turned up on the celebration day taking photo's with his wife haahah . This is just a joke ! I would rather have a player like Kalou who tries and fails then a player like Paulo who decided to just retire early in the Chelsea Fc care home.

Why is it so wrong to question why this guy has been such a leech ? Why should a player like Kalou be lambasted like he has even though he tries and when he know's he ain't good enough has the decency to move on, Paulo has spent his prime years doing a Borgarde.
