I don't want us to start a mechanical team. I hate it when we start a mechanical team with no willing runners then we wonder by the 20th min why we are being overrun. I find it annoying, the other team attacks us they get in the area they shoot and John Terry falls over before the ball lands in the net. We hardly ever concede a goal when the other team has carved us open its always because of a stupid mistake and i do not want us to go 1 down against a side with Bayern's wingers and counter attack ability.

They only have Richards as someone recognised as a player who played for them before billionaires arrived whether it was Thaxin or Mansour. I would prefer a more direct player. If we were to sign a second striker to play around our centre forward then I would be cool with Hulk but not as a bloody out and out wide player. I think its really hard to make it as a wide player in this league without pace, Hulk can run but he can't run away from a defender.

Sloth there are players out there who are a lot more direct and have fantastic technical ability too. A player like Arda Turan (25) from Athetico Madrid or Eljero Elia, these players have a direct style and they are the type of wingers we should look at, not a second striker (Hulk) masquerading as a winger. I have had enough of this square pegs in round holes bullshit, the facts are anyone who has watched Hulk as much as I have will know that his qualities are suited to a second striker like a Tevez or Rooney. I really really don't want Hulk, I think he's an overrated player with only a superb shot but little else. We need a player with break away speed not someone like Hulk, we need one more direct winger and another pure centre forward. I'm sick and tired of these robotic players with good passing and shooting (Technical ability) we need a young player 21-24 with pace and technical ability. The new striker should be a STRIKER full stop nothing else.

I don't think anyone cares about Liverpool any more, they are shit and they have been shit for a while now. I don't even see them as a threat to anything, they are just a cup side with a bit of istery.

The problem is Layla this is all happening when we are going through our transition. You know when Man utd were going through transition when we won it in 04-05 they had 2 very young special teenagers in Ronaldo and Rooney. You could see that given time they would flourish and they did, Ferguson was clever because he mixed youth with experience and it worked wonders. This is a massive summer for us, I really hope RDM gets a 5 year deal and he sits down and works out a long term plan with young players at the forefront. Like we did years ago when we signed young but established players like Essien and Robben, these guys were established European standard players with energy and dynamism in there early 20's. Players like Hazard and Hamsik are the equivalent of today. Cavani is like what Drogba was, he's in his mid twenties and he would add a lot.

I'm really worried not because of City but because of the much improved Premier-League. We have a top 6 now and its not easy to beat teams like Newcastle and Tottenham. We really need to strengthen in the summer, we need to spend a good 180 million if we want to win consistently because we have players like Raul and Bosingwa who really should not be competing at this end of the league.
