Ramires's pace is not enough in the Nou Camp we need to take a chance and play another player who can accelerate on the counter attack. Whether that is Sturridge or Torres I don't know, If we break against them at the Nou Camp then I can see us winning the tie overall.

No his timing of his runs are what I'm talking about. There have been 1000's of quick players in the past but hardly any of them have consistently got in the box in dangerous area's like Ramires.

I think people are a bit short sighted when it comes to Ramires. His timing of his runs are on par with a prime Frank Lampard and that takes game intelligence believe it or not. His finishing is not world class but his timing is world class !!

Average at best, Patrick V made him look a lot better then what he was and when Makalele came on the seen it was game over.

Chelsea fans seem to believe that Bale is just a brainless speed merchant but he is so much more then that. He actually is a good dribbler, he turns defenders inside out and he has a brilliant shot and cross on him. Juan Mata is currently leading the whole league in chances created this season and if we had a wing wizard consistently running through like Bale then we would be a very dangerous outfit. The thing is Spurs would never sell him to us so I'm just dreaming !

We always have a chance with Didier in the team. I really mean that, if we did not have Didier then I would be certain of losing but the fact that we have him brings a lot of unpredictability. I'm not saying this because of what he did to Spurs over the weekend, I'm saying this because of what he's done since he has arrived at this club. Torres will probably start though with Didier coming on around the 60th minute mark.

We can not go into this game with the ''revenge'' mentality because we WILL be clobbered. I agree with you Sloth, we have had all these Torres fan boys/girls join the forum since he joined the club and its annoying because they only support Torres and not the team. I've been a Chelsea fan since 1996 and I haven't seen a worse attacking combination then what we have right now. These players can't even keep the ball in the final third without giving it away within 5 seconds, our defence was actually fantastic today. HOW THE FUCK HAS RAUL MEIRELES FOUND HIS WAY FROM THE LIVERPOOL SUBS BENCH TO OUR FIRST TEAM ? This is what we get for trying to skimp on our transfers, you get what you paid for. If you want quality 21-25 year old's then you have to spend around 20 million pounds like Mata or Essien or even Robben when we signed them. If we play like this against Barca then we'll lose and it will be a no contest.
