Cavani is a superb player but i just think Napoli would take advantage of our need for a striker and they'll want upwards of 40 million which is crazy even in today's market.

@Konjo I think you're making very early judgments on Hazard and its clearly unfair.

I like the fact that we have done this because it helps the squad immensely. We haven't signed players just for the sake of 'squad harmony' but rather because they can contribute to the team in a positive way !

I think its more the older generation that can't stand modern football because they have seen the change. The younger 'premier league' generation love it barring a few younger fans who seem to know a lot about what it was like 30 years ago through talking to family members. The investment in recent years has certainly made football a much better sport because of the improved infrastructure and facilities at players disposal. The down side is the extortionate prices at football stadiums across the Europe and the fact hardly any clubs are for the fans anymore !

All the people who are dumping on Lukaku now are the same type of clowns that were dumping on Drogba when we first signed him. I'm not comparing the two but they both were very raw when we signed them so lets just give him time ! Lets just see how he does at Fulham and give the guy some support !

No No No we knew what Makalele was worth. Mikel is one of my favorite players, he provides us with stability and ball possession in his area of the pitch. I have had a go at him in the past but I firmly believe that he's the first name on our team sheet !

Just finished watching the game lol we are going to be one dangerous side in the Premier League next season and I really mean that. If we get Oscar in then we will have so much variation and to be honest I would keep Lukaku because he offers us a bit of presence upfront and he is ultra quick too !

Seb his hold up play is probably his best skill at the moment. He has terrific pace as well but he is better with his back to goal, I think he would be a very good player for a team like Fulham if they could use his pace and hold up play !

Esk I would sign another striker anyway because I don't trust Torres at all lol. I would sign someone who has great experience at around 30 years of age. Someone who is refined and could get us goals someone like Alberto Gilardinho, we can't go into the new season with only Torres even if Lukaku stays !

I would send Lukaku on loan because he's a young target man. Players in his position only start making an impact at 24-25 and he's only 19 so a season long loan would do him the world of good. Drogba was still a right back at his age so there is no problem at all, I'm sure he can make it but not now.

I just hope that this kid doesn't end up like Denilson for Arsenal. This signing will be a big body blow for Josh and i think it'll seal his fate as far as this club is concerned !

Yes i agree with that, we also need a strong bench. I personally would start with Obi and Ramires in the middle so it can give us the brilliant balance of pace and ball control. We can then have 4 players ahead of that who can alternate, Oscar can play in the middle in some games and behind the striker in others when Mata needs a rest.

Drogba at 34 years of age looked like he was rolling back the years with his dominant performances. He turned Mikel into a midfield dog, RDM turned Mikel into a midfield player that dominated the midfield in the biggest cup final in world football. EVEN FUCKING KALOU GAVE US SOMETHING IN A DEFENSIVE WAY ! The fact is he destroyed his relationship with a lot of the players when he basically shit on both Alex and Anelka !

He's the golden one that got away in my opinion. I can see him sitting on the bench for Liverpool though and wasting his talents !

They got 35 million for Hazard and they got Kalou for free so its not as bad as what you may think. Kalou will get goals in the french league because he's a goal hanger !

I'm so happy that this circus is happening now and not in the middle of the season. If he gets a 12 match ban then its not something we can dwell on, Cahill and Luiz are more then good enough.
