Don't let the hype get to you - he's doing the same thing Bob Bradley did before him except JK has more talent available to him than Bradley did.

He is genuinely the American John Stones. Strong, tall, sort of thin frame who is proactive, likes to be on the ball and has the potential to be captain for their NT. He had a fantastic season in a team that was thought to be rebuilding after the departures of Henry and Tim Cahill and the new coach going with a youth movement. He's only had 1 great season though, and part of the praise is certainly him exceeding expectations.  People who are comparing him to Hector and Papy are just bitter about the board's recent decisions with no logic being applied. 
His potential to make the first team? What youngster has been bled into the team in the last 10-15 years? Mikel? Zouma if he stays on track? That's about it. As much as I'd love to see an American in the Chelsea XI, I'll still side with the Vitesse/Championship loans before he gets sold to Reading.

We are. And we will be the ones that Mourinho beat with Man Utd.

Well deserved ... last season KDB provided 29 assists (and 16 goals) ... according to kicker.de

- a record 21 assists in 34 Bundesliga matches (and 10 goals)
- 2 in 6 DFB-Pokal matches (and 1 goal)
- 6 in 11 Europa League matches (and 5 goals)

PS Ribery (2011/12) and Misimovic (2008/09) provided 20 assists.

What did you guys think was gonna happen when we played a 3-5-2 with Azpilicueta and Zouma playing as wide as they were against a fit, hungry team eager to impress their coach when our new keeper looked like he was a backup for a MLS club? Costa visually looked a little bit bigger and should've had at least 2, Oscar didn't look good. RLC as a 10 was interesting. Loved that Moses looked like he had something to prove.
On a brighter note, I got RLC to smile and give me a thumbs up and JT to smile and wave so I felt like a 10 year old girl for about 5 seconds last night

There was a 120 minute game played the day before. I also don't remember them watering the grass during HT but I could be wrong.

When someone doesn't have much dribbling or speed in attack, they tend to have more vision like Mata, silva, KdB. Oscar needs to develop this part of his game. He doesn't give enough through passes or vertical passes to me, too many sideway passes that don't lead to chances created.
I was willing to give him time because midfielders tend to develop later in their careers, but hopefully it happens this season for him.

Subject of this weeks ScoutNation. He's so, SO much better than Oscar offensively, technically, and is just an all around classy player. Such a shame we sold him. He'd have a field day with Costa in front of him and Hazard beside him. Meanwhile, we'll have Oscar start brilliantly and then fade badly as the season goes on. Don't care how badly it would look for the club, I'd have him back in a heartbeat.
