City rightfully should've had points deducted for illegally registering Lampard, instead they release a statement protecting what was initially stated by City Group, correcting the mistake that rightfully proved they were lying.

Southampton are a good team. They are badly missing Bertrand though and Soares is not physically strong like Clyne which is why they keep leaking goals. But they are a good team. That is not a walkover.
Newcastle are awful right now but I hate playing them. They always up their game against us and that is when the likes of Sissoko decide to have the game of his lfe against us. They have amazingly beaten us in the last 3 visits. That ground has been a bad omen for us in recent season. Should win on paper but it is one of them games where a surprise is always possible.

I have said before and I will say it again. Strikers are judged on goals, if they aren't scoring they get pelters, and I for one think Costa needs to take a long hard look at himself, both in his behavior, and how he has started this season. It's been a very timid start for Diego but I would also like to point out what I said the other day. Diego Costa does a lot of dirty work for this team, he runs, pressures, and gives everything both on and off the ball every game he plays. Whilst that may not be the be all and end all for some people it stands with me in high regard because the least I expect anyone who wears a CFC shirt, is effort.
Now banned for 3 games. Lets really see if Falcao or Remy can step up and not just score goals but fill a void that does a lot of donkey work for the team. People may say "It's not Falcao or Remy's game to do that" it's a job every striker should be doing, running the channels, doing what Costa did against Arsenal by pulling the two centre backs across the field and being a constant thorn in their side.
People are saying "He won't be missed" From a goal point of view that is correct, from a pure work rate and team player he will be, and I honestly believe that. Let's see starting tonight and for the next three games exactly how this pans out, the pressure is on our other two strikers now, these guys have big responsibilty to fill the void of Costa and start firing us back up the table and kick us on in the CoC.

Un-fucking-real. Incredible double standard once more. If a Chelsea player had done what Gabriel did the media would've exploded and the FA would have fast tracked the charge again and he'd be banned.

Hypocrisy on display for everyone to see. Wenger repeatedly accepts the red after the match, then Arsenal appeal against it and win. Wenger whines about Mike Dean way more vocally and directly than Mourinho and haven't heard a peep about discipline against him. Costa disciplined during the game with a yellow card, but retrospective punishment coming in so small part due to Wenger's criticism of the referee. Blatant, unabashed double standards and making up the rules as they go along by the FA. Ban Diego because of his actions, no problem, but punish everyone with the same consistency, not too much to ask.
