Kalou was relatively young when he joined Chelsea and was here for 6 seasons. It's difficult to compare him with the likes of Torres and Sheva.

Weren't we too reliant on Drogba as well? Torres will almost never live up to that role but I much rather rely on him scoring the goals than have no production at all.

Was world class in 09-10, and as frustrating as he is at times, his heart was in the right place. Wish him all the best.

He was always good enough to start. In my opinion anyway.

Sturridge is too good to sit on the bench. His dribbling ability and pace would be of great use on the right wing.

Wouldn't surprise me if we got both, but IMO we should loan Moses back to Wigan for more experience unless we offload Malouda and Benayoun together.

I would welcome Jose back with open arms, but not anytime soon. RDM deserves a long term spell at Chelsea and I know the word "stability" is taboo around here but I hope that's what we're getting out of Roberto at the helm.

On the contrary, that's exactly what we need on the right. I'm not convinced with Ramires/Mata on the wings and we need a proper right winger.

Hopefully this will be the last loan spell for Josh. Carlo showed a lot of faith in this kid and I think he will have a shot at regular-team football soon enough.

Indeed. You could probably make a case for his penalty kicks, he is very reliable (for the most part) from the spot. Mata and Hazard should take the free kicks for us from now on.
