There aren't many links and he's not worth the money quoted. Would like his signing just for excitement, for the fact that we can compete with the big boys. Obviously he's very good and he'd be my signing for right-side forward regardless of money but if club pass on this they can't be blamed. But I simply don't want another underwhelming signing that we have concerns about from the start and being absolutely fed up 6 months in.

Believe it or not United don't have unlimited budget. Them missing on Champions League is huge. Apparently even 80m£. Their debt is growing due to Brexit. And sometimes I think we know nothing about money involved in transfers. If Chelsea put an offer then that's because there's realistic chance of transfer. I think we have as much chance as them, well if we really want him and they miss on top 4 then I put us as frontrunners. I don't know if we really want him that much.

My understanding is that player breaks through if he's clearly viable option for the manager and he hasn't got second thoughts to put him on the pitch. Like Welbeck and Cleverley at United, both eventually sold, but they were trusted to play in games and they were clear option for the manager. Same as Bertrand. Chalobah is almost there if he starts few important Premier League games. And if he will be sold in few years time? So what, any first team player can be sold in any time.

For me it's obvious that we'll buy right-winger in the summer. I'm worried that it won't again be someone from top bracket. Bernardo is behind Griezmann for me for that spot but only just. We should spend elite money for elite player - watch us sign someone like Calhanoglu instead. Our inability to find that RW player who becomes mainstay in the team is laughable. So many players come and go yet club will try to cut the road again. Rinse and repeat.

Nah, he's in decline. Remember that he has started to play top division senior football in 2003 at the age of just 15. So it's now his 14th season at senior level. Add to that his injury record and it's no go. Still somewhat disappointing that we couldn't sign him back in 2010 and I still cannot figure out why, he really rejected us after fee was agreed? It's Burnley, we roll them over if we play the same as today and can match their desire. I'd really think of benching Hazard here to give impact from the bench but Conte changes are so late it's pointless. But seriously we should start with 3 midfielders FFS. Why oh why can't we field Matic, Kante AND Fabregas from the start? Not looking forward to being played off the park by fcking Coquelin and Ox. That's one thing I won't understand with Conte I actually think he may bench Hazard but not for 3 men midfield but Willian and Pedro as starting side forwards. When I think of this I take a draw. Yeah and I fully expect Chelsea to sign those 6 players. However I don't believe all of them will be of required quality. My bet is that 3 will be great and stay with us for long and 3 will be players that we have objects from the start only to grow frustration and be completely fed up after 6 months. That's how I see it. Hopefully those 3 good players will be left wing-back, partner to Kante and right forward.

Honestly, I think it's certain we'll try to sign centre-back. Can't see going with 3 young players in Christensen, Ake and Zouma. Then if Fabregas leaves we need to replace him. So we're talking about 6 signings. LWB, RWB, CB, 2 x CM, RW. Then we don't know what will happen with Courtois, Hazard and Diego Costa. The only certain players to still play in the first XI next season are Azpilicueta, David Luiz and Kante.

25m£ is good price IMO. There's talk that they want 35 for him but maybe closer to deadline we can have some leverage. I can't believe we'll be actually weaker going out of the window than before it. If Ivanović goes then we just let Pedro to be cover for Moses? Lol. I wonder how significant in this window is our league position. It should have no bearing yet it feels whole plan is around it.

We're playing dangerous game with our paper thin squad and Conte knows it. We are 2 injuries away to our first XI mainstays to have injury crisis. I'm not convinced we stay as injury free as now all time every time. Although our injury record in the last 6 years is excellent. Would be brilliant if we can at least sign another wingback. Maybe some players to loan out. But how scary is that we have only 3 AMs? And one of them is dreadful?

I have no idea why Roman and co. want to extend the lease even though they have it for free for the next 180 years. I hope it's not what I think. Certainly it will be interesting for the next few years.

Can't even imagine that we leave the window without wing-backs backups and with only 3 AMs. Blow waiting to happen.
