  1. Was invisible whole game. Hopefully won't be dropped. Can't even think about him being with the squad next season if someone like Michy hasn't played last season.
  2. I know shit from Italian, apart from "cazzo" obviously, but I just opened the news and understood it completely. The sense, the figures, the Chelsea in there, just a question, is La Repubblica reliable ? Honestly, we should drop whatever it takes to have at least one elite wing-back. The axis of Hazard and Alex Sandro is the best in the world including both left and right side. We can get away with Kante and Bakayoko combo with such quality on the side. Elite signing, therefore unlikely to happen.
  3. That briefing from Chelsea was quick.
  4. You are calm because it's "just" June but remember it took Chelsea 7 weeks to sign Baba Rahman from minor German side or sign Cuadrado on deadline when seemingly transfer was agreed in the first week of January. And the transfers were delayed because of things like who will pay percentage to the first club of this player. 2 years in the row we started the season without recognised left-footed left back, 2 years in the row we signed centre back on deadline day after chasing preferred target whole summer for nothing. We will sign Bakayoko and Lukaku probably but it can't be that smooth with this club. And those two don't scream top quality too much. The most appealing thing of Bakayoko is that he isn't Matic and Lukaku is looking to move because of the situation with Diego Costa.
  5. Great player, just what we need but we will never complete this deal. Only 3 AMs and currently 2 healthy for 60 games season. We are buying attacking midfielder. But within our 32m£ cap, that's not him.
  6. 15th of June and nothing is happening. When we need 6 players and time moves by and there's hardly any movement it's concerning. Can buy into this reasoning that new kit manufacturer deal only starts in July and we wait for announcements but then I know this situation too good to know that come July there will be hardly any changes. Lowkey, there's arsenalization going on at the club but because we hit the jackpot with Conte, there's hardly critical atmosphere around the club. Honestly, we haven't got good transfer window since 2014 and that summer we were lucky that Barcelona were fire selling to have money for Suarez (Even freaking Arsenal bought Sanchez then) and Diego Costa had a buy out clause. But yeah, we'll be announcing signings every 3 days in August. Even contract talks with Courtois, Hazard and Conte have stalled. Lastly, looking forward to Rudiger / De Vrij signing for central defence because we couldn't have bought Van Dijk or Koulibaly but needed to sign someone for the sake of buying a defender.
  7. Lol, gentleman agreement if someone pays the biggest fee ever for the defender? Starting to believe that we should stick with what we've got plus Christensen. We won't pay this big fee and I don't want cheaper alternatives like Rudiger or De Vrij.
  8. Honestly I think Tomori has a way better chance. He's quick, agile, very athletic. JCS is so slow I don't think he's modern defender. Games are now quicker and athletic defenders are preferred. JCS struggled with pace many times in the youth games. He's class defender, great on the ball but it can be difficult for him. On a plus side he's left-footed so maybe for certain side it will be the key in signing the defender. Tomori has everything to be great modern defender. Under the radar, top prospect.
  9. If he's announced soon, will it trash the theory that Chelsea wait for Nike deal to kick in to announce signings? Or he's too minor to bother?
  10. Don't make fool of yourself. Just one example, I'm sure Ramires was part owned.
  11. Juve bought 100% of his rights if that's what you are asking. Didn't Chelsea buy players with multiple owners before from Brazil and Portugal? I won't believe in this. The time to buy Alex Sandro was in 2015. I was writing this two years that we should go for him so I would be ecstatic if this was true but it probably isn't. And Chelsea don't buy best players from top clubs anymore.
  12. Don't get your hopes up folks. Friendly reminder that Chelsea chased Baba Rahman all summer in 2015 when Juve bought Alex Sandro effortless for 5m€ more.
  13. That's the price after negotiations already as far as today's reports.
  14. Honestly can't be one bit excited about Lukaku. I should be ecstatic about 80m£ transfer but not this one.
  15. If Chelsea are frustrated dealing with Monaco, then there's no chance that they are going to enjoy doing business with Lyon president. The guy is known hard negotiator which with Chelsea inability to close any deal means trouble which probably turns to no deal. Just saying.
  16. And I thought two weeks ago that this deal is wrapped up. There's no single one deal in the world that Chelsea could close early instead of dragging it close to deadline.
  17. It's exactly right thread to say this. And yes, we're not but our approach is different. We still can spend truckload of money but we need to be wiser with this. We can't "Mangala" in the transfer market, you know. A high profile mistake, yet City spends even more on the next two centre-backs. I can't fault the club for not buying Griezmann for 100m€ or Pogba but there are really players that we can buy. We still at worst 6th in football food chain. I wonder what the problem is with negotiation process. Do you imagine we couldn't buy a player from Everton who put transfer request ? And why deal for Cuadrado was pretty much agreed in the first week of January yet it took a deadline day to announce it ? Or going back to 2015, how the hell in early July we "signed Baba" and proceeded the selling of Filipe Luis yet it took next 6 weeks to finish the deal, and we went into the season without left-back ? Or we needed a centre-back that year yet we couldn't sign anyone until deadline. Why did David Luiz and Marcos Alonso signed on the last day previous summer ? How's that possible we could go into season without a recognized left-back AGAIN ? Our transfer negotiations are baffling. Now there are rumours that Bakayoko deal is difficult because there are too many intermediaries, no doubt in my mind that we eventually sign him, but yeez, why City don't have the problem with that ? Bernardo Silva, guy from Benfica probably has multiple intermediaries since childhood as well as it's common practise in Portugal, but deal was concluded in a few days. Watch out for August signing of Bakayoko ... The spending power is there but transfer negotiations are weird. We have a problem to close down any deal. I can't imagine how we are going to sign those 6 players minimum that we need. Backup GK, LWB, RWB, CB, CM, RW. Probably striker too if Michy/Diego leaves and maybe another midfielder if Matic/Fabregas leaves. But honestly we have so much money now I can't accept defeat in this transfer market.
  18. I'm so excited right now, finally got over the Cup defeat, something to cheer about was desperately needed. He's the first player we're linked with to get me excited and binning Matic for him (since we're signing Bakayoko anyway) is just great. Honestly we can sell both Traore and Zouma, I don't care if that's required so be it. Bakayoko, Tolisso, Kante, Fabregas, our team is A LOT LOT better instantly.
  19. BTW I'm the only one who feels nowhere near as happy when we win things comparing to that absolutely shit feeling when we lose ?
  20. You missed my point. Cahill, Azpilicueta, Kante, Matic, Alonso, Diego Costa can't play football when they receive not perfect pass and/or on their weak foot. It cripples this team immensely and that's why we're dominated in many big games and look like an average side. 93 points was collected by the worst bunch of players that broke 90 points barrier in the history of the Premier League, that's a damn sure. I'm talking about technical, individual quality.
  21. Honestly I was so sure that we lose the cup like in Conte's first season with Juventus. I'm going to check when and how he was eliminated from Italian Cup two following seasons.
  22. I posted this previously, but he's one of few Chelsea players that I actually hate(d). He's lottery winner to play at this level with his lack of technique, slow thinking, non existent weak foot and elephant turn.
  23. Shame that our lack of technical quality showed up in the final. Honestly, half of our team can't play football at this level, can't control the ball when there's not perfect pass, and when they have a ball on their weak foot they panic like lower level players. But FFS, I knew this for a very, very long time and I wanted this last game to paper over the cracks but it wasn't to be. Though the double for this very very ordinary side would be too much laughing to handle, that would be cheating.
