  1. 2 games a week?, not when the number of sides are uneven.. The Premier League is fucked now, I have to wait 10 days and it will be like that for a team every week. Choulo wanted people not to get bored, well.. now you have the opposite. We also have active members of the forum with quality sides like Baselona who have been permanently deleted now (player history, stats, trophies, legacy...) coming up against that side is hard enough even without updated tactics.
  2. My VIP ran out a while ago, won't be updating it, shame we're gonna lose the banner though. You should stay on (or another 'forum' staff member) as admin, the league should essentially be an extension of the board in that sense.
  3. Good to get the Premier League back, that's my 7th title now, Nour FC have been the toughest competition out of all 7 of those seasons. Roman Abramovich (level 13) my best midfielder is retiring this season.
  4. Is Malouda still 'technically' at the club? Watch him embarrass himself and brown nose Mourinho, "I will take pay cut if you get me a new contract daddy"..
  5. Regardless, if a manager is in place.. a more hands on approach can be had in transfer dealings. If we sign someone now we know Mourinho would have had influence over that decision. Barcelona are run in the same way as City, but unlike the Manchester club they have an actual youth policy and a culture at the club of bringing through home-grown players. Thus the coaching staff/managers (also products of their system) know them 'inside out'.
  6. City are signing players left right and centre without an actual manager in charge.. For once, I'm pleased we haven't done the same.
  7. Chelsea splashed the cash on youngsters like Oscar, Hazard and even Azpilicueta for the long term. City have splurged a shit load on a 27 year old and a 28 year old, for the 'now' to win trophies short-term.
  8. JimCFC's neutral football forum, totalfootballforums.com He sold it to EA, and someone then bought it from EA, Jim is still an admin and member though.
  9. City, PSG and now Monaco have all copied our blueprint for on-field & commercial success, the later pioneered by Kenyon at United. The sheikhs are not doing anything 'extraordinarily' different from what we've already done in that aspect. I'd rather have Roman at the helm, and it's 'because' he isn't looking for a return, he's a football fan, it’s his legacy, Roman loves the club, which lasts longer than economic motives. If the City 'project' eventually dwindles will it matter for the UAE?, they have fingers in multiple pies, the MLS and PSG etc.
  10. ^ There are loads of these... With both logos.
  11. Are we really going to let them sign Cavani?.. With Falcao done and dusted.. we are running out of 'finished articles'. Unless Mourinho really does wanna give Lukaku a chance.
  12. The people at Samsung, Mourinho and club officials posed (a few times, for PR) with the 2004/05 shirt but with Samsung instead of Fly Emirates.
  13. I pity Sam, because Jose' was and is the best thing to happen in the Roman era. He will become synonymous with the club now. I'd like to see him do what Ricky Gervais did on his return to the golden globes. "So.... Where was I?"
  14. Sky Sports New stream http://www.firstrow1.eu/watch/68515/1/watch-skysportsnews.html
  15. Return of the king. We're back, we're fucking back, Chelsea football club back on the map, we have an identity again.
  16. There would be no backlash if he failed to win the title in his first season.. Even after it went sour in 2007 fans were lined up outside the bridge in droves crying & protesting in response to his dismissal.
  17. Cahill is a mere squad player though, who cost next to nothing (in the grand scheme of things), Luiz was a marquee signing who would accept nothing less than a first team place.
  18. He will go down as one of the most erratic defenders in recent history, Hummels is a similar type of player but has a lot more potential. We'll need a JT replacement at some point so a Papadopoulos 'type' signing will come along. This is what a scouting network is for.. I don't necessarily want Luiz to be sold, but the idea of holding him in a higher regard than Mourinho is madness.
  19. If we meet Madrid in the CL, THAT game is now a derby. Pepe will be sent off in the first 5 mins and Casillas will put in the performance of his life.
  20. Fans Favourite?.. Fuck Luiz No proper Chelsea fan favours Luiz over Jose-Fucking-Mourinho.
  21. Same here, it seemed inconceivable.. Although he definitely doesn't need us more than we need him, he still has options (e.g PSG).. we have zero options. When Man-City are having to go for substandard coaches like Pellegrini, it speaks volumes.
  22. The concern is justified, because we can't seem to beat them (5/5 'competitive' games). Yaya Toure is like kryptonite for us, a 'one man team' quite literally due to how versatile he is, steamrolls our pivot with ease. It's embarrassing..
  23. How would that even be instigated though?, it's not as if Gourlay & Buck waltzed into the dressing room and gave him the armband. Unless the hierarchy at the club suggested it to Benitez, who at this point has zero influence I suppose.
