  1. Staying in Cambridge??? Poor bloke.
  2. How could any Chelsea supporter not like Wise?
  3. Just because we havent joined your new fanclub? or because we DIDN'T send the death threats? Seriously though, these people need to get a life.
  4. Im gonna save that for later when I cant sleep.
  5. Its not now Kenyon's a cunt, Kenyon's always been a cunt so lets get that straight. Dodgy deals follow the bloke around and he's got more and more careless about sweeping them under the carpet since he's been at Chelsea. Why is that? Because his ego's grown with our revenue - the revenue he really believes he's solely responsible for generating. So we're debt free, well thats great because Im sure none of us want to go back to teetering on the edge of being bankrupt again. But as good as it is, its hardly an achievement to be boasted about is it? We havent generated our own wealth, it hasnt happened because the PR's been handled so successfully by Golum has it? Fact is, we are in debt - maybe not in the same sense as clubs like Utd, but in the sense that we're expected to kiss Roman's feet and spout constant adulation whether we agree with his vision for Chelsea or not. As for fucking off to support another team because we "dont like anyone or anything at Chelsea", had to laugh at that one tbh. You happily use your age and length of service to Chelsea when it suits your argument, then come out with a statement only a ten year old could use, seriously LMFAO. We're all entitled to opinions about the club we support and it doesnt have to be blindly one-sided, surely we can love a club and be honest about its faults as well? As FB has already pointed out, there's nothing wrong with having a greater regard for your club than money.
  6. It was Roman who saved us from going bankrupt.
  7. This is kenyon we're talking about - wouldnt put it past him.
  8. Mhmm he got Obi Mikel for both clubs apparently.
  9. What's their wealth and success in the 90's got to do with Kenyon exactly? Missing out on Ronaldinho was a blip? More likely another dodgy deal gone wrong, lets face it, he didnt get Sven when he tried to tap him up, made a cock up over Cole first time round..........the blokes a shyster and not a particularly good one either.
  10. How did Kenyon make them a premier football club exactly? If he werent such a useless twat Ronaldinho would be playing for them for starters. And instead, when he's well past his sell by date, we'll probably end up with him.
  11. There's a big difference between the world of football and your average career tbh. People don't have the same kind of loyalty to the company they work for that they do for the club they support. It's a lot easier to move from one company to another, seeking better pay, conditions, etc because you don't have the same emotional attachment but you don't swap allegiances in football in the same way. Fact is, Kenyon gave it all the "I support Utd, my father supported Utd, its in my blood, blah, blah" and seemingly forgot that 'loyalty' the minute money came into the equation - and lets face it, its not like he was destitute is it? The man's a cretin and as for doing his job well, I guess that depends which side of the fence you sit on. If you're happy with Kenyon's vision of a corporate crowd all suited and booted and applauding politely when Drogba scores from 30 yards out, talking about the "splendid soccer" in whatever language they happen to speak at the Bridge these days, then yeah I guess he's done that. But if you prefer a few beers, a bit of passion, not being tied to your seat or taking out a second mortgage for the privilege, then he remains a tosser.
  12. well youre not leaving yourself many options here. Celibate gay maybe?
  13. So is this you 'coming out' Mike?
  14. I think we should transfer Grant to Accrington Stanley.
  15. Always has and always will be a slimey little tosser.
  16. No, I base his performances on the fact he was never up to it from the start and walking up and down the line scratching his head hasnt convinced me otherwise and doesnt show me he's actually doing anything that remotely resembles managing. That and his clueless substitutions - usually just desperate attempts to do something, anything - which are generally completely irrelevant. Grant had to play with the team he was given? Boo bloody hoo, name me any top manager who wouldnt be happy with the squad Grant's got. And you've already pointed out Jose came in the summer and chose his own players, so when exactly was he put in 'that situation'? The January youre talking about was a different scenario entirely, we were bloody desperate for some cover for injuries, we didnt get cover and thats what cost us - Jose had every right to be pissed. Fuck me, Roman couldnt get his wallet open quick enough this January to give his mate transfer funds, so the 'poor little Grant has to put up with Jose's players' routine dont wash with me. You really think this nobody's gonna surpass the records Jose set during his time at Chelsea? Behave ffs. And my head aint anywhere near Mourinho's arse, I recognise his faults. He wasnt perfect, but he was special. My continued apathy towards Grant has got sod all to do with Jose not being at the club anymore. Yes, I rated him as a manager and adored him, but he's part of our history now, old news. As for Grant, the sooner he's history as well, the better as far as Im concerned.
  17. First, it'd help if the points were legible and second, its probably not the best forum etiquette to introduce yourself by trying to lay down the law on how and what members should post. How has he proved himself? The team have got results but like its been said time and time again a tailors dummy could get the same results. He knows how to win like Mourinho? You deluded enough to think the titles coming our way then? Because thats 'winning like Mourinho'. Evidence for Ten Cate and Clarke managing, hmmm let me see.......how about the fact Grant has proved time and again in his interviews he's too clueless? He can barely speak coherently never mind dish out tactical advice. So we can't boo displays like that one against Liverpool? And what was your beloved Grant doing during that game? Oh thats right, displaying his 'management skills' - wandering up and down scratching his head. Might as well be scratching his arse for all the use scratching his head does - there's as much shit in it.
  18. Its a load of commercial rubbish, cant stand red roses and all that shit.
  19. Did Grant hear he was in line to be the next Chelsea puppet/manager/whatever today's title is?
  20. We'll never find out what really happened but lets be honest, there are no innocent parties here. Utd knew we'd invested heavily in Mikel and still tried to steal him from under our nose. We, in turn, upped our original bid, knowing full well he'd got a contact with Utd by this time. Mikel, well he simply allowed himself to be sold to the highest bidder - and who knows which version of his story is actually true? As for the agent - well ok, got him a decent deal but essentially, whoring Mikel to the highest punter lost him a year of his footballing career and gained him a minor hate campaign and a rather large chip on his shoulder.
  21. Was just talking about the whole Roman/Kenyon/Money thing and my opinion remains the same - its come at a very high price to Chelsea as we knew it. So for me, this is the sort of article that brings me no sense of happiness or pride at all.
  22. Far too much of a gap to make up imo. Not surprised in the least to find ourselves 9 points adrift, pretty much to be expected really and I can see us dropping a few more before the end of the season. I would be surprised to see us lift much more than the CC though.
  23. Maybe the honeymoon/trial period for the 'manager' is over and realisation is finally dawning on the players?
