  1. Its been an embarrassment over the years really so its all good now. Don't make much sense letting rugby players plough it up though, the groundsmen will have their work cut out again in the summer after that.
  2. Shame that, they both looked like they had such great potential.
  3. Oh that one, never even look at it when it comes tbh.
  4. Expensive, superficial, full of ads, up its own arse - and my boys still make me buy it.
  5. I'm as much a Gorbal's Girl as you are a Grant fanatic.
  6. No idea what you're talking about tbh. Anyway, back on topic..........you warming to this Grant bloke then?
  7. I'd put money on it being all over the papers the minute we lose though.
  8. Lot of bloody fuss over a 3 letter word if you ask me. CM's as entitled to his opinion as everyone else on here, thats what forums are for aint it? We could all jump on Cracker for being too PC but as its already been said, on the whole we accept that some of our views are going to differ and we live with it. That's why the forum works imo although Im sure the new arrival might disagree.
  9. You watched Utd and Liverpool play lately? World's apart.
  10. Well, with Hargreaves apparently coming from the Robben school of injuries, Saha and Neville still out and Scholes only just back, I still wouldn't say they've hardly had any problems, but anyway.....don't feel any real pressure tonight, mainly because I can't see the title going anywhere but back to the holders this year.
  11. How about some 'community service' type payment? he could come and clean the changing rooms once a week. He's not averse to hoovering up a bit of dust.
  12. Well Utd clearly did cope or it'd be us 4 points clear of them. And to be fair they have had some injuries to deal with, maybe not as many as us but they've had some key players out for long periods as well - Rooney, Scholes, Hargreaves, Saha, Neville - but unlike Arsenal, they've got depth in their squad to cope with it. Which is the same reason we've coped with it so well this season, not because of anything Grant's done but because he was lucky enough to be given a bloody good squad to start with.
  13. He's waiting for Roman to finish flicking through the 'Footballer's Are Us' catalogue.
  14. Terrific news. Maybe we should start a book on how long Mikel will last?
  15. Because it's been identified as a feature of our game, we seem to do it more than anyone else in the prem so we've brought it on ourselves.
  16. Hmmm nice dig at Cole there. and is it just me or is this yet another little dig at Mourinho signing Cole?..........
  17. If we weren't doing it they wouldn't be able to highlight it, simple really. I don't know why no-one seems prepared to admit this is an ugly feature of our game and although we're not the only one's to do it, we probably are the biggest culprits.
  18. Seeing as Jim won't go along with my suggestion, I'll have to agree with Ollie really. It must be pretty much what all the members are looking for, a mix of decent posts without it going into Krypton Factor territory, and the odd bit of humour thrown in. Tri-Blue could be right as well (always a first time), there's plenty of posters here that seem more than capable of writing stuff well worth reading. Other than that though, its all good stuff. Nice work.
  19. Ok, not a favourite in our house by a long shot. But the scouts watched my youngest's side playing today and have asked if he can start training with them. I guess we'll have to start getting used to them.
  20. He looks like a proper tall lad but could do with a bit of meat on his bones if he's gonna cope with the prem I think.
