To be honest lads, my Chelsea season pretty much finished today...anything beyond this I see as a bonus!
-
What? Ok, fine! Believe it or not, I was supposed to be studying, but I was popping between the library and the pup across the road and ended up staying after Frank's 1st. When we won, I decided to share my adulation when I returned to the library! Such is my dedication to seeing Spurs cry! Banned now! ...till next year.

I know...but it highlights what I was saying about what happens when JT gets caught in a high line. Fucking Rambo!!!
-
So, as I was saying about JT...
-
Then again, we can't press too high with the likes of JT in the team! Catch 22 really. If there is a tactic, it seems to be 'pass it around and wear them out'.
-
Whatever fat boy's 'tactics' are, they're not working. Don't look like actually breaking them down. It's all set-pieces and corners. If we go too far forward, they can destroy us on the break. The only thing I can say is that Villa are running around an awful lot. They should be knackered in the the second half.
-
Cahill just got made look like an absolute schoolboy. And if a keeper is beaten at the near post, then they always could've done more.
-
Why can't our last two games just be normal games? Difficult fixtures already, but with Petrov retiring and Moyes' last game it adds a whole new dimension...one could even say Petrov's announcement was timed!
-
I've asked the same question to veteraned season ticket holders one of the last times I was at the bridge and he said "It's them who associate with us!" He was very adamant about it. I was always wondering about the link because of the fact they're Rangers fans...don't hear many nice stories about Rangers fans. Nor, Celtic fans either for that matter! But it's just something I wouldn't like the club to be associated with anymore.

Makélélé... With Mikel around, I often forget what a real DM looks like!
-
Indeed, sounds like bullshit. No way would he simply be handed over for money. Especially considering if they want him to replace the likes of Gotze; that says it all.
-
That was quick xCechx! Talk about fast news delivery! Anyway, I have a new one: John Obi Mikel: "I am shit" ...nah, I kid the Mikel! (he's not good though!)
-
Before I start, a lot of your arguments are based on me saying to sign Falcao/Cavani...show me where I said that. Because I didn't say that at all. Lewandowski all the way. I said previously in a different thread, IF we are looking to spend big money, it should be on Cavani because he's more complete. 1. Yes, and he's 28 in October, so practically when the season starts. 2. His are in excess of 200k. So when I don't think he's worth it, well of course it's different! Jesus! And it's also different when people think it's some sort of bargain when he already commands one of, if not, the highest wages in the league. 3. When he has a bad attitude. He doesn't constantly go around in one, but his level of commitment at times is questionable to say the least. 4. I don't give a flying fuck what the media thinks. It's about not having any more stupid off-the-field antics affecting on-field performances. I don't want anyone who will detract focus from the team especially one who has shown a selfish side in the past. 6. He has fitness problems every year! This year it has just been way more noticeable. His natural frame and build is nowhere near athletic and it seems like its just going to get worse. 7. Just look at the circumstances you want to sign him under! The road looks bad for United, they need to rebuild soon (Rio, Vidic, Giggs, Scholes) with a new manager and Rooney doesn't want to be apart of it. He doesn't inspire confidence in me, so why would he for any of the players when things start to look tough? 8. Link up with Lukaku eh? So who's place is he going to take in the 3? KDB? Oscar? Or are we going to change our entire system for him? Kind of shot yourself in the foot there mate... That's because everyone of those arguments ARE LINKED WITH HIS PERFORMANCES. They are the baggage he comes with and they mitigate his talent. Again, I did not say we should sign Falcao/Cavani. Don't put words in someone else's mouth to strengthen your own argument. (Apologies, I see now your aiming at other people who say sign Falcao/Cavani? Well I'm not one of those people, so I think we're coming from completely different angles here!!) P.S. Going to bed soon. Feel free to respond though, can get back to you in the morning!

If you noticed my earlier post, you'd have noticed it's not just because 'he's fat'. The only thing bemusing are people's lack of looking at the overall picture and at the baggage a player like Rooney comes with. Either way, let me break it down exactly why I don't want him anywhere near this club: 1. Touching 30 2. Ridiculous wages 3. Bad attitude on the pitch - and when he's in it, everyone else suffers 4. Bad attitude off the pitch - with the battering we've taken from the media down the years due to JT and Cole, do you really want to add Rooney to the equation? Seriously? You do know the media despise us right? They'll be watching him like a hawk 5. Not consistent, only scores in spurts 6. He has struggled with his fitness this season and it's only going to get worse. It took him all fucking season and he's still not fully fit 7. I'd worry about his level of commitment given his track record of, y'know, wanting to bail on clubs when the road looks hard And finally: 8. We have youth that have the potential to be just as good as him in the future. I don't care how many positions he can play, I'd rather give time to players like KDB and Lukaku. These players can give us a good 10+ years of service, instead of getting a possible 3 or so years out of Shrek (if we're lucky) while he hinders the development of others.
-
I honestly can't believe so many of you are creaming yourselves over Shrek...he's just going to get fatter! Fergie is the only reason his career has gone as well as it has, he's kept him in line, otherwise he'd turn into Adriano! Lewandowski is the same price for fuck sake! Are you lot joking me? You'd pick Rooney over him? A younger player who is already used to our system?! A player with an amazing work ethic and who isn't a tit? Don't give me that 'PL experience' bullshit! Are we just buying from the PL now?!? One season max for Lewy and *bang* adjusted to the league...and he'll only be 25 by then! I'm usually quite reserved, but did everyone take fucking crazy pills this morning?!?
-
Stingray! What did we discuss about you scaring the newbies?!? Welcome Joe! There is a debate going on about signing Rooney at the moment. Personally, I think he's a fat, Sherk wanker, but you're more than welcome to join the debate!
-
I can't believe people are actually debating this. He is a fat, unfit, Sherk wanker on massive wages. Totally overrated and totally inconsistent. Not much more I can say, except to quote what I said months ago: Oh, and same price as Lewandowski? Please fuck off.
-
Anzhi, someone, anyone please come and save us from this disaster of a footballer! Take him for free, I don't care, just take him away!
-
Someone burn this thread.
-
Can't say much more than this. We either win one game or just not lose either of them. A Villa is more achievable now that Wigan are in trouble, which I'd rather due to the Everton game being Moyes' last. By the way, is Moese' touch just THAT bad or is he nervous or something?!? I want to give him the benefit of the doubt...
-
We have to. Such as massive game, feels like a cup final! Can't wait!
-
All the more important now that Moyes might be leaving Everton. When we face them, it might be Moyes last game in charge...not good.
-
Ireland called him up first, otherwise he would've player for Scotland, so he said. I think he deceased Irish granddad also wanted him to play for Ireland. Anyway, as decent as he is, I don't believe he's needed with KDB and Chalobah on the books. Even if he is a young experienced PL player, I've no doubt that Chalobah will soon outshine him. KDB already has the talent, he just needs the PL experience.
-
Moyes to United if anything. Makes more sense with the odds being slashed. Giggs/Scholes to step up to coaching roles, maybe even Ole to be assistant manager. Bobby Charlton fucking despises Mourinho., don't think it'll happen. Especially given Mourinho's not-so-subtle Chelsea hints in the past while.

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/8697511/Jose-Mourinho-claims-he-has-considered-staying-on-as-Real-Madrid-coach Jose Mourinho claims he has "considered staying on" as Real Madrid coach I see this and, for me, it still doesn't change that I believe he's coming back. "I have considered staying on" - meaning past tense. It's not "I am considering staying on". This is very sly, but it very José. Ambiguous but not so much when inspected closer. He's not lying; I'm sure he has considered staying on, but came to the conclusion he can't. He's not happy. You also hear about the divides in the Real camp and there is just no way in hell he can stay there. It's just a case of him being respectful and professional (insofar as he can be) while he's still employed by Madrid.
