  1. Calm?!?!? Don't you know what team we support?!?!?!? If we don't take advantage, once again, of others mistakes, I might have an aneurism!
  2. Yes, of course I know this. But the main thing is a that we win the game against god damn relegation candidates.
  3. If Everton win, draw or lose it does't really mean anything if we don't win. We're offering no clear chances up front. I knew this game would be like this. We really need something before half-time, otherwise I won't be confident at all for the second half.
  4. Bertrand is playing brilliantly. I think it's the fact that there's no pressure with Cole injured.
  5. Ok, so what if Schurrle does come during the summer and de Bruyne only goes on loan, what happens the season after that? I know people are saying KDB will be in the pivot, but all the highlights of Kevin's time at Bremen have been his attacking attributes..so we're not going to see any of his brilliant crosses if he is deployed as a DM. Yes, he has a brilliant distribution from deep, but what about defending? As far as I can tell, he'll be no better than Lampard in that aspect. What happens if he can't adapt to that position? We'll have an overload of AMs, might be forced to sell him and STILL no god damn world-class DM or ball winner in the pivot. In my mind, he's a CM/AM only, not a DM. Also, 4-2-3-1 is such bullshit, it's causing all these problems.
  6. That's it. Me and you buddy. A Bender love-in, let's go!!! If we get his brother too, we can have a pair of Benders in the pivot!!
  7. And here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0x4vsPB0rqM Was that cross from Bender? Screw Schurrle, get him instead. Y'know, a DM, a position we're in actual dire need of.
  8. Hopefully. Let's hope it's his cry to his new club that he can still 'prove critics wrong', rather than here.
  9. Can't believe this shit.... http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11661/8620633/Fernando-Torres-I-ll-stay-at-Chelsea-and-prove-critics-wrong Fernando Torres: I'll stay at Chelsea and prove critics wrong No, no, no, no, NO! Why doesn't he get it?!?!? If you want to stay, are you going to take a massive cut on your 175k wages to reflect you levels of performance?!? I DON'T FUCKING THINK SO!! He'll gladly sit there and say he's been shit basically, but he'll also happily take his massive wages every week...FUCK OFF TORRES!!
  10. Exactly mate! I just loved the fact that Rudd was trying to bring total football to the Premier League.
  11. I know he was coming to the end of his career when he joined us, but my God did I love him. Him, Zola, RDM, Petrescu, Wisey, Lebœuf etc., that was the team that made me fall in love with Chelsea. Absolute Legend.
  12. I have a really, really bad feeling that Mignolet is going to have the game of his life. It just feels like one of those games...like stupid Ben Foster against WBA, playing a stormer against us on his customary one game a season where he morphs into fucking Gianluigi Buffon. We need to score before half-time, otherwise I'll be worried...
  13. I don't think he'll ever be here if I'm honest. All of the top German players are either at Bayern/Dortmund, or they are at least in the Bundesliga. They're very loyal to their clubs and league, and they're clubs never want to sell German internationals. Also, this fact should've really spoke volumes for the Marin signing. The only regular German internationals outside the Bundesliga are Ozil, Khedira, Podolski and Metesacker, that's it. Only the Real players are of any note. So I think many here should do what I do and just ignore Schurrle stories.
  14. Seems like Torres is playing for a spot on the Anzhi team!
  15. What in the name of Jesus is Buffon doing?!
  16. Brazil superstar Neymar has revealed that his father is in talks about extending his current deal with Santos until 2016. The 21-year-old is one of the most sought after players in the world, with a whole host of European clubs reportedly interested in signing him this summer, including Manchester City, Chelsea and Barcelona. Santos president Luis Alvaro de Oliveira Ribeiro recently admitted that it was possible the forward could stay with his club even beyond the end of his current contract in 2014. And now the player has told the media that his father - who represents him - is in talks with the Vila Belmiro over extending his stay. When asked by ESPN Brazil about his chances of extending his deal with Santos, he said: "Why not? Talks are underway, but they are more with my father than with me."
  17. Who the fuck really knows? All I know is the boy craves attention. Can't wait to see him up against proper defenders, in a proper competition at the World Cup, I'd say his price will drop dramatically afterwards.
  18. Chelsea, Manchester City and Barcelona target Neymar plans Santos stay http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/8611943/Chelsea-Manchester-City-and-Barcelona-target-Neymar-plans-Santos-stay Does anyone honestly give a shit anymore??? I wish they'd stop tagging Chelsea in these damn stories, which seems like nearly every week. Better yet, I wish him and these stories would fuck off altogether. Overrated show pony and media-whore. Pants at international level; scores in friendlies against mainly poor teams.
  19. Anyone know what the hell is wrong with him lately? I know he only came on for a few mins, but my word, everything he did was wrong. Two mins left and he wants to cross it into the box instead of running it into the corner, cutting in and back, or whatever the hell he was trying to do, instead of just smashing it near side to get a corner; not doing stuff any decent fifa player would know to do!
  20. My head is telling me we won't win this one. We haven't beaten City emphatically in a while and they have nothing else to play for...I want to be wrong. Maybe if we get it to extra time, we could do it. We don't have the king of Wembley this season either One thing is pretty much sure, whoever wins this will win the final.
  21. Moses was absolute piss when he came on. I wanted to say he was Kalou-esque, but that would be insulting Kalou's super-sub abilities...not bashing, just saying.
  22. Straight from the horse's mouth - Makélélé on the DM position: "...you must enjoy running...we're talking about 2-3 touches maximum, you don't keep the ball much..." "you must enjoy running" - meaning getting about and getting at players. Mikel run? Not much, and no pace is an understatement of the century. 2-3 touches? Try 12. "Don't keep the ball much" - I interpret this as having quick passing and decision making abilities...and Mikel? Dawdles on the ball, turns like a bus and passes back to Terry/Cech. His all round game was terrible. Again, he couldn't do the basics against relegation candidates. I'll refer you to Spike's post.
