I disliked Oscar two seasons ago and yes I can imagine all those tournaments left him exhausted and despite the goal production falling off, when he came off the pitch a lot this past season I felt control of tempo went off the pitch with him. I'm pulling for him to succeed this season after getting some decent rest this offseason. He's had a good attitude throughout the past campaign and didn't pout or whine like some others have previously.

I like the idea of Romeu replacing Mikel if he does leave. Overall there's not a lot of wow factor for me right now with current loanees, but that's a viable option. Maybe Chalobah makes the squad. Traore gets brought up a lot in the press but even if he overcomes work permit issues, he'll get the crap kicked out of him like Cuadrado did from these mid table and relegation scrapes parking their buses.
