Completely agree, I think Sturridge will flourish, playing behind a true CF. The kid knows how to score, has quite a few tricks up his sleeve...but unfortunately, I see him leaving Chelsea in search of more first team football.
Just hope Clattenburg gets banned from Chelsea games. Ending his career would mean nothing...Fergie would just ask the FA to put some other corrupt referee in charge of our clashes against United.
To be fair, I would of bet on Reading to win the game...cause Arsenal have been playing poor football of recent times (against similar teams like Norwich, QPR)..& you know that Wenger is gonna play a few of his youths.
Exactly, comparisons to the Bison are understandable..but they are unfair to Wanyama. Essien was a special midfielder, it's a shame about his injuries.
Didn't the manager of the referees for the NRL get sacked in Australia like a few days ago...because of a high number of 'controversial' and 'questionable' decisions made by refs/video refs over the past season?
If RDM leads Chelsea to the league title this season, then my answer would be yes. If he doesnt win the league, then he ain't the right person for Chelsea.
F**k United, they can't win an important match without the interference of referees. I'd be surprised if United didn't beat us in the Capital one cup..with a player getting sent off or a dodgy call for a free-kick/penalty.
Wouldn't mind seeing De Bruyne in a slightly deeper role from next season. Can't wait to see Chalobah play for Chelsea's first team! As for McEachran, he's got the talent in spades but the question is, will Robbie take a risk on him.
I was surprised when Alex left the club, he was a top defender who knew how to strike a free-kick!...the only thing he lost was a bit of pace & he was made the scapegoat of AvB's high-line problems at Chelsea.
Pato has always had injury issues, its part of the reason why United & Arsenal decided not to sign him, back in 2007 when he was the next big thing in Brazil.
That's only one person on this forum who for some reason loves David Villa, even with Chelsea's policy for over-30's. Bringing in David Villa is an okay short-term option IF he agrees to take low wages. I'd prefer Chelsea to sign a 24-27 year old forward, someone who will hit their peak sooner rather than later and start firing Chelsea to even more success.
