  1. I'd rather keep an inconsistent Schurrle than sign Douglas Costa
  2. Hope we sign him, would be a nice upgrade on Schurrle & Salah
  3. The most interesting stat for Salah: He has been in the matchday squad only 9 out of 22 EPL games this season...and he's played only 33 minutes of football Last season, after the 6-0 thrashing of Arsenal, he was involved in every EPL game..
  4. The Milan loan deal was pointless to begin with...he was basically the sweetener so that we could offload Torres... He should have been loaned out to a club with a track record of developing/improving youngsters..like one of the Portugal clubs
  5. The worst thing is...Arsenal rejected the chance to sign Douglas Costa on loan because they felt they had enough lightweight attacking midfield options I just don't understand this potential transfer....he's not better than Schurrle and based on his records, he doesn't score many goals
  6. Cahill has always been average...if it wasn't for Chelsea, he'd probably be stuck on a relegation-threatened EPL team at the moment
  7. I blame Mourinho because before the game he said it's not in Chelsea's DNA to lose these types of games, he said other managers prefer to have the extra day of rest before the next EPL matchday He set this team up for failure...and that's exactly what happened. I bet Liverpool are delighted with our defense, they'll probably score 3 or 4 in the league cup as well
  8. Hopefully having a good season means we can sell him for a decent fee in the next transfer window...because we really need to start offloading loan players that aren't going to make it at Chelsea
  9. Cuadrado's direct style of play is the major difference Willian lacks the cutting edge offensively whenever I see him shoot, it doesn't look natural, it looks forced
  10. Cahill getting owned by another pacey winger/striker, this never gets old
  11. If no-one wants to buy them...the only option is a loan deal. If they do well at their loan club, they can be sold at the end of the season
  12. if Salah goes, does that mean we recall Atsu? He's better off sitting on the bench at Chelsea than Everton...
  13. Totally agree, save money now and sign a quality RW/RAM at the end of the season
  14. If there was a possibility, I would definitely take him. World-class player on his day
  15. I'm glad we loaned him out...hopefully he impresses in the Championship
  16. Whenever I see Chalobah's name being mentioned, I keep thinking of a comparison to Jack Cork Solid English player, represented the national side up to U-21's, did well on multiple loan spells, couldn't break into Chelsea's first team and eventually earned a move to Southampton I just get the feeling Chalobah may be sold sooner rather than later
  17. Probably needs a loan spell, he hasn't had any sort of impact this season
  18. I always thought Terry, Drogba and Lampard would retire as Chelsea legends But Lampard moving to City and helping them potentially win the title with key goals crossed the line... Hopefully City don't win the title, it would be sickening to see Lampard celebrate with those players...
  19. City can win without strikers because all their midfielders can score goals...Silva, Nasri, Navas, Fernandinho, Lampard ( ) & Yaya Whilst at Chelsea, we only have Hazard & Fabregas as goalscorers...Willian is rubbish, Schurrle hasn't done much since the World Cup & I'm struggling to understand why we bought Salah
  20. Cahill was always an average defender and he may end up costing us the title
  21. Just get the feeling West Ham may snatch a victory in this match..if we play like we did in the 2nd half against Stoke Hope Schurrle & Remy get a chance to play
  22. Great result but our lack of energy in the second half was a bit concerning So Lucky that Adam missed a good opportunity to equalize
  23. Delighted to see Liverpool fail in the Champions league
