Well to be fair to Neto, he also liked a post when it was announced that Sanchez was being dropped for a PL game....and apparently a few other first team players were happy with that as well. I'm guessing Neto wasn't pleased when his mate Felix was moved on in January 😆 The biggest positive was George taking the shot, good to see at least one of the youngsters get a chance every now and then. Josh has shown some potential in the cup competitions, will be interesting to see how he develops.

It wouldn't matter if we did score....we're not the Chelsea of old, we're not capable of scoring 1 goal and winning a game anymore. Best case scenario we get a point, worst case Fulham actually turn up and give it a go and we get beaten by 3 goals. 🙃

If Maresca is still here next season, it'll be the same rubbish "possession" football with a few nice highlights from the Brazilian wonderkid coming over. I can't see much changing until Sanchez and a few others are asked to go.
-
This is just their revenge for having to pay 60+ million for Mount.
-
I don't see us beating Betis/Fiorentina in the final based on current form.
-
It won't hurt us in the transfer window because we were unlikely to attract top class talent (with or without UCL football). We don't have the champions of previous years leading the side and we also have a rubbish manager in charge, so why would players want to join us over other European sides? I can't wait to hear Maresca's excuses for the remaining games, we have 6 games left and they could all be losses. Fulham will give it us at home, Livo/Newcastle/Forest have enough to beat us and I'm sure even United will pull off a masterclass as they tend to get up for our games.
-
Well he fits the age bracket for our sporting directors and this great youth stockpiling project at Chelsea, they'll probably bid on him soon enough 😆
-
Pellegrini is a solid manager and Betis have been around that top 6 of La Liga for the past few seasons.
-
Based on our form and the fixtures left, there's every chance we miss the top 5 spots in PL and I don't see us beating Betis/Fiorentina in the Conference League final. If Maresca keeps his job after that, good luck to the club as we'll only get worse next season (but we will have two young attacking talents available 😄)

This is the part I don't get with some managers. There's no point having 1000 passes and 60% (or more) possession if you aren't doing anything meaningful in the final third of the pitch. Our attack is almost relegation quality (with Palmer not in form and Jackson still recovering from injury) and so predictable for the opposition.
-
For us/Spurs/United, I feel like there's just something missing between the players and the manager. For City, feel like it's the end of a cycle (particularly with KDB going at the end of the season). It was weird seeing them go hard for young defenders.

The message being sent to the playing group is confusing. You sign Veiga and 6 months later, you need to loan him out. Then with Chalobah, the club tells him he's not required, goes to Palace and then with injuries, we recall him and everything is supposed to be fine between player & club? Even Felix gets brought in and 6 months later he's keen on a move away and the club lets him go on loan (knowing full well that we have no attacking options available other than watching Nkunku walk around the pitch).
-
The sad part is, we have 3 starting XI players who can't stay fit for 5 games in a row (James, Fofana, Lavia). Then we have all these young players who haven't been tested out yet. I still don't get why Veiga was sent to Juve on loan, surely there were other clubs that could have given him some decent minutes for development?
-
I know people on here don't like him but Osimhen is that player. I just feel like he's got the athleticism/power to do well in the Premier League.
-
Reece isn't going anywhere, he'll be here just like Wes till the contract has 12 months left. That's why I never understood giving players long contracts. Anything more than 4 years (with extension options) is way too much.
-
No-one is going to sign an injury prone player like Fofana. We're stuck with him until 2028/29 when his contract expires.
-
Why is Werner's name alongside the two flops? At least Werner can say he was part of the side that won the UCL with Tuchel. Gittens would suit Liverpool/Arsenal way more and where would he play with the likes of the Brazilian and Portuguese attackers joining us next season.
-
Shouldn't matter, if we are really going to be challenging for top 4, these are the sorts of games that we should be winning at home. Same with Everton, they are always a scrappy side but we shouldn't be letting them come to the Bridge and beat us. Bournemouth had more than enough chances to get the 3 points, Ipswich had like 2 or 3 actual shots on goal and they both went in.
-
The next 4 games will tell us everything we need to know about this group of players. Brentford, Ipswich, Fulham, Everton.....all 4 are winnable games but I wouldn't be shocked to see something like 2 wins, 2 losses.
-
I don't think he's the right coach if we want to be top 4 or better in future seasons If we're happy to hang around the top 6/7 and get Europa/Conference League, then Enzo might be fine.
-
You forgot to mention that we have Brighton boys making the decisions behind the scenes. Baleba gets the auto green tick of approval. Same reason why Sanchez is still at the club as the #1 keeper. I'd be surprised if Santos' agent didn't test out the market as there will be plenty of interest in a young mid with goalscoring ability (something we sorely lack).
-
Was looking at transfermarkt and it shows Lavia's last 'full appearance' was in December against Villa and that was 86 minutes. At least our scouts know how to sign injury prone players (Fofana, Lavia, Pulisic and many previous).
-
I said it at the time, spending that much on Enzo - Caicedo - Lavia was a waste of money. That Lavia fee could have been spent on a striker or a CB.
-
Maybe we got the hint from Gyokeres agent that he wouldn't be interested in a move and decided not to bid? I'm sort of surprised that United haven't sealed the deal for Gyokeres considering his strong relationship with Amorim.
-
If Quenda and Estevão live up to the potential, we'll have some real quality in attack for years to come!
