The advantage I like about him is that he's comfortable with both feet, fast, physical, long distance shooter and can dribble. If Ake makes our backline look too small (bcos of Azpi) then Alonso can play there in the left centerback role where he's very experienced in, while Ake plays in the wingback position.

This season we'll need at least 89points to guarantee the title imo. Everyone in the top six is on course to get above 75points. This is just an unusual season, considering the strength of all the top 6 teams, I think we still need to win 12 and draw some out of the remaining 17 games.

Costa llorente Hazard Ake Matic Kante Moses Cahill Luiz Azpi This tactical option wouldn't be necessary if every one of our back 3 and midfielders are good on the ball and can hold the ball under pressure but we know how Cahill, Azpi, Matic and kante buckle under pressure now so llorente can help with this problem.

I'm happy Pedro played. He's had a couple of games in the left wing-back position and has looked brilliant attacking wise. Tactically when we're chasing a game, him and Moses on both flanks is fantastic. He wasn't tested enough defensively though

I wish we can get Verratti. Honestly that would be incredible, a player who is solid defensively, quick, can pass like fabregas and can tackle. But I'm having doubts that we can get him. I read a tactical post from a Juventus fan on Facebook about Conte saying that Conte wants midfielders who can be a number 6 or 8 at any point in the match. Verratti is world class in this role, modric is another but in our team right now both Matic and kante are only good defensively but woeful attacking wise. Fabregas is world class in attack but terrible in defending. Kessie is not worldclass in both, but like yayatoure, like Spurs showed against us with dembele, these type of midfielders who are good on both sides can be as valuable as they come. He is still young, but I see potential because he already has the physique, shooting, positioning, dribbling and passing technique naturally. Conte can Forge him into something great like he proved with Pogba. If this is a Conte signing I'm all for it, because Conte has proved that if there's any position he is a master of players abilities, it's midfield. He was amidfielder himself

He has his weakness, but his powerful shooting, strength, two footed long range passing and opening up for teammates to find him is better than what I've seen from Kante and Matic so far. He's no Verratti or fabregas but I absolutely love players who get their heads up as the ball is rolling towards them and gives first time passes easily, especially if they're two footed. Against Juve, when he lost the ball, it was from behind by mandzukic coming back but you can clearly see his strength against anything in front of him. And about decision making, that's the best you can get from a box to box. He's not Verratti or fabregas who make the best intelligent decisions all the time but in terms of the type of box to box midfielder CONTE likes, I can see why we are scouting him. You can see that Conte prefers strong, goalscoring, box to box midfielders like Pogba rather than small playmakers like fabregas and there's some similarities with younger Pogba I'm seeing with this guy.

I don't like watching YouTube videos of players best goals and assists because it doesn't show what he does for the rest of the match. But after watching his all his touches for three different games against empoli, Juve and Roma, I've changed my mind about kessie. Sign him up!!! He plays like a young yayatoure. He's two footed, opens up and makes himself for passes, can spray long passes to the wingbacks with both foot, he's strong as hell and excellent at holding the ball under pressure, so dembele and wayanma can't bully him off the ball easily without committing fouls, he has the stamina to get up and down the pitch, he can use his strength to dribble out of tight spaces, he loves one two's (hazard will love him) and he can shoot and score from midfield. He's the best available box to box we can land in january and he's young so he can only improve under Conte. The YouTube channel is fansjuvecomps and Juve fans want him so bad.

Not just the marking of Alli, but the freedom of the world erikson had to cross is annoying. Kante and Azpi would never allow that kind of space because of how fast they close down space. But on the Alonso-cahill-matic area they're all slow, only Matic presses the rest back off and KDB and now erikson have the freedom to ping easy diagonal crosses. It's a weakness that ruins our tactics and we must fix it, because now every team have watched this game and will try it all match long till they score.

Tottenham's tactics 1.) Get the ball to Walker and Eriksen and create an overload with Alonso 2.) Force Cahill to come across to help 3.) Make sure David Luiz is busy with Kane 4.) Dele Alli makes a forward run to get on the end of crosses vs Azpi and Moses We had no answer… We have Cahill who was too slow to close down erikson, while walker was occupying Alonso, hazard can't come back to defend that space Cahill leaves as well as Willian/Pedro on the right and combined with an easy person to beat in the air in Azpilicueta, this is a weakness. Mancity did it with DeBruyne and now tottenham with erikson. If we're not going to get into the market and improve on the quality of our wide players and central midfielders, we have to play 3-5-2 against the big teams from now on. The third midfielder will cover that space where Cahill doesn't like closing down the diagonal crosser and hazard doesn't cover that space effectively. Thankfully tottenham scored us from two similar goals so Conte should spot that obvious weakness before our big games against liverpool and Arsenal. Giroud will eat Azpi alive if ozil is allowed to put early diagonal crosses from the Alonso-cahill-matic triangle.

Exactly. This explains it perfectly. Conte didn't do well by taking longer to bring on fabregas, but the individual performances of our players were shocking. Kante, Luiz, Pedro, Moses, Alonso, and even Azpi were terrible. None of them could complete a pass all game, they were so bad under pressure.. Tottenham just matched us in formation and dominated us in midfield with better combination of dembele and wayanma (who had hazard in his pocket) while rose and walker dominated us on the wings against terrible Alonso and Moses on the other side. The individual quality of the tottenham players showed over us. While hazard is the 2nd best dribbler in Europe, he's normal in finishing and Alli got two chances and scored, hazard bottled his two chances. Like I said before, once hazard ain't dribbling well we struggle and wayanma hustled him all game. Conte has been protecting the poor technical quality of our players with his tactics but Tottenham matched us with the same style of play, and they had the better back three who are all one on one defenders, better wingbacks who are both fast and can beat their man one on one and midfield duo who are fantastic under pressure compared to Matic/kante and it showed.
