U sure? Rooney is a work horse, even more than tevez in my opinion. If there's one thing im sure of about rooney, its his work rate.
-
I think Neymar did well in the confederations cup, and has a lot of goals for brazil internationally. In fact i think he scored 45 goals in 54 matches in 2012(i cant really remember but it was almost a goal per game) which is massive. Your seriously underrating him, i think he is already a better finisher than gotze, better freekick taker, better corner kick taker, already a better dribbler and the only thing gotze has over him is vision. But these days the people who win the ballon d or, are not the best players with vision. By vision alone, iniesta, mata and ozil will be contenders for top 3. But sadly its not only vision that makes you a world best, its goals and the wow factor(dribbling skills)

Huge mistake to sell rooney, a player who can spray long passes, score long rangers and give you 110% workrate to a direct rival. I dont see the logic in that for them.

Mourinho will surprise people next season. Im very sure he'll improve the defensive contribution of mata. After all, hazard wasn't good at defending under RDM but under benitez look how he improved defensively. The same thing happened with ozil, he was horrible defensively before mourinho made him incredibly good defensively. So im backing mourinho to make mata even better than he already is
-
Ok maybe i was a little harsh on him. But i tend to see people with pure natural skills as the players with higher ceiling. Lucas moura has strength and pace and close control, which makes him an excellent player for the future. But what im trying to say is that Neymar and hazard have pace, close control and far more skills. So the others dont have the pure natural skills which neymar and hazard have which makes hazard and neymars ceiling higher in my opinion. But we'll see, no one can predict the future

Exactly. I dont get the idea of people not wanting us to use 4-3-3 because mata will move to the wing. If it helps us win big games, why not? The other 10 players would work perfectly in a 4-3-3 too? In some big games the 4-2-3-1 with mata in the middle, we were dominated in the middle in all mancity matches, juve match and even against benfica, To counter that, sometimes you need a hardworking AM in the 4-2-3-1(bayern use kroos or muller) or a complete change to 4-3-3. That could have been the difference against manchestercity last season.

and mancity lose to supersport united 2-0 :lol2:

Im sorry but these days, vision alone will only get you as far as what iniesta and xavi get, 3rd and 4th. What takes you to the top is goal scoring ability and pure dribbling or skills on another level. For example, zidane has the same vision which iniesta and xavi has but his elegance in dribbling skills made him by far better than them.

My opinion is that mourinho knows about lamps and what he can offer, but it will be nice to know first hand what vanginkel and kalas will offer if played alongside the likes of hazard. Ramires and Lamps can come in with more experience in the second half.
-
Mark Schwarzer Ivanovic - John Terry - Tomas Kalas -Ashley Cole Marco van Ginkel - Nathaniel Chalobah Kevin De Bruyne - Eden Hazard - Andre Schurrle Romelu Lukaku How about this, trying out chalobah and MVG in the pivot
-
Now who's faster??
-
Gotze doesn't have half the pure skill hazard and neymar have, he's more of just a close ball control dribbler. Even isco has more skills(leg overs, backheels, scissors crosses, etc) dan him. I guess maybe some people like me like skills than just running with the ball like messi
-
Yes the fast, versatile striker that mourinho can tell to play anywhere, not who will be complaining when told to sacrifice ego and play somewhere for the team
-
Still, inter became a far better team when he left and won the champs league along
-
People should remember mourinho sold ibra while at inter. There must have been a reason, bcos mourinho wouldnt have sold him for any price if he wanted him to stay. So im with mourinho on this IBRA?
-
He can play in any position across the front four. He brings versatility which is very good. He has more shot power than most pple in our team and it will be needed when opposition crowd the box and long range shots are needed to break down opponents. He is also hard working and a defensive improvement to mata and hazard in the attack. He's pretty fast too. So he'll play a lot of games
-
I dont think so. Both Neymar and hazard are potential world best players for their generation. Neymar has football skills in his veins at the level of ronaldinho at that age, in no way is lucas moura near neymars potential. The only thing neymar lacks is strength, which he can develop on, but the skills he has, only ronaldinho and ronaldo were brazilians at that level at age 21. Lucas moura is at the level of gotze and isco and the rest that will fall behind both neymar and hazard for world best players.
-
funny enough, i'll rather have rooney than zlatan. I dont know why, maybe his mobility is not good enough for me in a mourinho counter attack system that requires speed.
-
And lamps looks in love with that stare
-
did someone just ignore gourlay?
-
but he recovers Like a boss
