Arsenal have been playing with one starting eleven, except flamini or arteta switching. That is why they have blended so well. They are the only top team with perfect understanding among themselves and team chemistry. Mancity is close because they too have a recognized starting 11(i dont understand their away day blues though) When we get our settled starting 11(im hoping by January latest) we should hit top gear with perfect team understanding and knock arsenal off the top. That's another way to look at it. But if you look at the past 7 years you can actually notice that our top teams have gotten weaker compared to before. The teams that won the last 3-4 premier leagues will not win any from 2003-2009. That's how poor the top teams have become in recent times. Just imagine our double wining mourinho team or ronaldos manutd or arsenal invincibles. They will steamroll every other team that won after that period. We used to get 2-3 premier league teams in the champions league semis, but now its a distant memory. This is proof our top teams are weaker. But on the other hand, the mid table teams are tougher, more money to spend have brought them out, even tottenham that was one of our easier fixtures is now hard. So in conclusion its a mixture of both. The top teams have gotten too weak and the bottom teams have gotten a little stronger in the past 5 years.

until we establish a starting 11, this beautiful football is a dream. I told bluemaster earlier in this thread and i stand by it. That was what made benitez start finding a winning formula, he stuck to some players and kept on playing them till they got team chemistry
