He's not better than Koke, especially creatively. But he'll bring size and quality in terms of carrying the ball from midfield into attack like essien used to. He's an ideal Mourinho box to box midfielder. I've complained about us being bullied by teams in midfield because of how small our midfielders are, especially when they're not even excellent passers to compensate for poor physique. So Andre Gomes might be a perfect solution, young and plays in a stronger league like Spain.

He's like Zidane and Iniesta mixed. With better finishing and less vision for now.

His technique is natural, it's hazard and thiago levels technique, it's the real deal. The more of his type of players in our team, we won't even need too much tactics to win games because like hazard, they can win games on their own.

We have 4 players in our starting lineup who won't even be on the bench for the 4 teams in the semifinals. (oscar, ramires, cahill, Willian) That's the real difference in quality, not Mourinho's tactics that many have complained about.

Koke is playing in the middle finally, let's see his ability to keep the ball under pressure, strength, vision and mobility/movement.

No need for zouma in midfield, arsenal are faster than manutd and less physical, so we need ramires more.

Its fantastic for hazard. He's already performing at the level of ribery's prime year right now and he's still young and becoming better in his finishing. I can't wait to see his full potential. Will probably overtake zola as the most gifted Chelsea player ever.

People have to accept that it's not luck if it keeps on happening. Mourinho's tactics isn't luck, it's strategy mixed with quality players. The more quality we have on the bench, the less fatigue can affect us. The more quality/variety (long shooter, right wing dribbler, high keypasses AM, fast centerback) we have in the starting line-up, the more effective goalscoring and overall play will be.

I watched the video on the first page, not really impressed for a 40mil price I keep seeing. He forces passes even when there's no chance of making the difficult pass, he'll lose the ball like crazy here. He does skills to dribble, that worked well in the past, but now it's hazard, tevez, ribery, robben and Messi's close control and low center of gravity that shows how good a dribbler someone is and not leg overs.

I've not seen any of his videos, but he must have good balance/strength on the ball to perform instantly in Chelsea. Mata, Salah, schurlle, cuadrado have all suffered under Mourinho because of poor balance, they were all better finishers and chance creators than Willian, but willian was just stronger on the ball so Mourinho managed him instead.

He's been fantastic this second half of the season where we've been defending more...
