I just saw one of the luckiest goals scored by sunderland against Everton 36points now, surely their staying up

I got this transfer so wrong, I'm disappointed at how weak on the ball he is. He's a good dribbler but what use is that if you fall everytime you're touched. If I was weak on the ball, I'll at the very least practice how to win fouls by putting my body between the marker and the ball when people try to get the ball from me. But he's not good at any and it's so frustrating. Someone said something in the Bertrand traore thread and it dawned on me, he's actually better than anything I've seen from cuadrado so far. If he doesn't bulk up this summer or he doesn't beg hazard to teach him how to win fouls, we could be watching our worst transfer since torres.

Exactly the type of players we should be buying. No soft players who fall when touched anymore.
-
With a scale of hazard - Willian -oscar -ramires which player is his close control close to?? Is he strong on the ball or is he another featherweight salah/Cuardrado??
-
Get Koke and a strong, technical goalscoring right winger(reus) that can get into the starting line-up immediately like fabregas and Costa did this season. That will go a long way in making us play even more attacking with Matic Fabregas Koke Reus costa hazard Or more defensive against bigger teams with Mikel Matic Koke Reus - hazard Costa Terry is still playing good so defender is not a priority yet. if mikel stays fit next season we won't get bullied with him, Matic and Koke against bigger teams. An English goalkeeper with a left back / promoting Ake to get leftback spot will complete the team for next season nicely.

I have no problems with this signing. He'll be cheap, has good ball control, fantastic hold up play, good in the air like drogba used to be and he can finish. If he's okay with 2nd spot behind Costa, no problem.

Their defense is still top 4 in the league in goals conceded but they've gone 3 games without scoring. They need attackers more than defenders. People have started using Mourinho's blueprint to defend and counter against uniteds possession.
-
Guardiola shouldn't have played with such a high line when he didn't have the quality to almost match messi, Suarez, Neymar in bayerns attack. If he had robben and ribery, them they would have probably scored. See how Juventus stayed deep in the 2nd half against Madrid and attacked them on the counter, that's what you do when you don't have the same level of attacking quality. Any other way is a big risk that leads to trashing 75% of the time except for luck.

People thought bayern will stand against Barcelona but the team with the better attacking quality won. When you have a poor attack compared to your rivals, attacking them by making the game open and end to end for the sake of football is stupid. The higher quality attackers will always win in this situation. Only defend and counter can win most of the time. All of a sudden, guardiola has no messi in attack and no robben and he can't get a shot on target. If we want to challenge the top four teams, we must have 3 high quality goalscoring players in attack while the midfielders must be quality passers with technical quality. Maybe Gary neville was right, we may need bale on our right and Koke in midfield to put our team in the Champions League elite and scare the life out of teams with Hazard - costa - bale/reus Coming at their defense in full force.

The best solution is to play a 4-3-3 Matic Koke fabregas We would be more dominant in possession. While hazard would be further upfront.
-
Juventus gave a fantastic performance. I felt like I was watching 2006 Chelsea. They attacked on the counter and had a solid defense
-
He used to be a very good finisher and hardworking. He's also two footed like hazard, which is a very underrated attribute this days. Would be a no brainer if he's anywhere as good as 2011
-
Needs space, Chelsea don't get space.
-
They couldn't create any chance immediately he was removed
-
Get him for our AM!!
-
Exactly, by the time hazard makes so many dribbles without scoring, I won't be shocked if they start booing him for not passing to ronaldo instead of dribbling

Oh okay, now I understand you. That's why I said he has to defend the premier League even if he's saying a complete reverse. But if Mourinho says the premier League is the most competitive but its harder to win the Spanish League, he hasn't really lied it's just perspective. Exactly, it was competitive, tight. United never got 90 points in all those years like Barcelona and Madrid do, hence the premier League is more competitive. On a side note, you underestimate Ferguson. He won the league so many times with average players like parkjisung, Cleverley, oshea, brown etc. And the few times he had proper quality teams he either won the Champions League or got to the final. Fergusons manutd is an exception, he was so good. Like I said earlier, he never said the Italian league is more competitive, he said it's tactically difficult. Every team prepare more tactically instead of just coming with their regular game-plan. So he didn't lie again. Again he never said its the most competitive, he just said its difficult to win because you need above 90 points every single season because of Barcelona. does he want to sign bale? I'm confused on this..
-
You surely can't expect him not to praise the premier league now he's here. He's right that it's more competitive here, you can't seriously admit that a team can win the epl 4 straight years like Juventus did in Italy. The real reason is the top english teams are poor in quality compared to the first teams in the other top leagues(two in Spain). When he was in Madrid, he directly said that every other team will come third behind Madrid and Barcelona. He never really said it was the best competition in Spain. He was right. The Italian league was far stronger when he was there, evidenced by how only one team can make it past the group stages. Ibrahimovic and Cavani used to play there so the quality has dropped drastically from 2009 compared to now. Only Juventus is strong now, no inter, no Milan to contest now. Mourinho lies here and there, mindgames but he tells the truth as it is most often.

We should have gotten both fabregas and Sanchez from Barcelona last summer. He's better than any right winger available in this window. With hazard on the left and Sanchez on the right, It would have been another ribery and robben combo created in Chelsea.
-
Matuidi would be fantastic if pogba goes to PSG
-
More passers in midfield needed incase fabregas/Oscar goes on 2nd half of the season slump again. (Koke, cabaye,) Another striker needed especially technical one. (Lacazette, dybala) A physical box to box midfielder who can pass and has long range shooting. (schneiderlin, Andre Gomes) Goalkeeper to replace cech (preferably English) Hopefully we blow teams away early so that we give some youth team players 15 minutes in many games, And we're set for next season.

This is why I keep on stressing Costas importance in our attacking play. He makes so many runs which creates space for hazard and fabregas to occupy and look good. Now we have the complete opposite in drogba, we've become the boring Chelsea everyone screams about.
