Out of the blue we're in for him in a last minute push before the dealine.....

Are we 'actually' going to sign anyone?

I think we'll see more changes in the summer. We'll just have to bide out time and hope we finish in the CL places. -
Theres nothing in physioroom.com , so I havent a clue whats up with him.

Quality GTFO moment

Deco and Malouda have to go. What we have atm is a mish mash of players who are being asked to play a formation that we cant play. Round pegs in square holes and all that.
-
I'm not buying into the "Robinho is the answer" idea. For starters he'll cost well over 30m. The first priority is to get a better standard of wide player into the squad before we even think about buying another forward. Robinho has hardly set the Premiership alight. The odd flash of brilliance here and there but all we'll have is a smaller player who's just as mobile as Anelka. What real difference will that make?
-
I think its more down to the formation we play. Last season Ballack was really looking the part and was dominating the midfield with Lampard. Defensively we were as tight as a mosquitos areshole and the will to win was oozing through the squad. Theres none of that present at all currently and it has to do with Scolari. Looking at it from both angles you can say its his tactics and formation, yet on the otherhand you can say that he hasnt had the funds available to buy the players who he sees fit to play the system. He's got a crop of players who would normally walk into most teams, but atm they wouldnt get in the local pub side. We have to drop this formation were playing and play to the strengths of the players we have. Play a way they are comfortable until he has the players available to do what he wants. Its the only way we are going to get anything out of this season.

Tbf...All Grant done was carry on were Jose left of. It was his squad his tactics and it was Clarke who held the team together imo. RA went for Scolari due to his free flowing football. Where was that today, in fact where has it been all season apart from the odd game here and there at the start of the season.
-
Free flowing attacking football is fucking brilliant Mr Abramovich....isnt it ?
-
I'm beyond dreaming of a winning streak. I'm convinced we'll struggle to get CL football for next season.

I've had enough of these pathetic performances in big games. I havent hurt as much being a Chelsea fan in ages. I want a team I can be proud of. Yet again I'm left fuming and seriously let down. WHY....was Anelka started instead of Drogba ? WHY....did it take us 70+ minutes to finally get a shot on target ? WHY....can we not string more than 2 passes together ? WHY....can we not beat anyone around us ? WHY....even against the lesser sides do we look unconvincing ? WHY....are we continuing to let players go and not bring in suitable replacements ? WHY....have we went from a spirited team to a gutless team ? WHY....are we continuing with Scolari when its obvious he cant handle it? WHY....am I so furious?.......Because I care about the club thats went from one extreme to another. We the fans deserve more, we deserve better. How long will this continue ?
-
Words cannot describe how furious I am right now. Mike Riley deserves to have his finger nails ripped off with plyers and have them shoved down his japs eye sideways. How that man can walk off the pitch happy with his day work is beyond me. But lets not put all the blame onto him. He did ruin the game from the start with his constant blowing up for anything. His decison to send Lampard off was nothing more than scandalous. It will be overturned with an appeal, but thats a small glimmer of light in what was another sub standard performance from our lot today. We couldnt put two passes together, too many players didnt turn up and to have our first shot on target around the 70 minute mark shows how lacklustre we are in attack. I'm now off to listen to 606 to infuriate me even more.
-
I'm listening on the radio and watching a stream.....I dont know whats worse. Listening to Alan ( I Love liverpool) Green and Mark Lawrenson or watching us create nothing in the final 3rd. I've been proved right by saying the other day we wont get any joy out of pumping long balls to Anelka. He's been non existent in this game. As has Kalou and Malouda. Theres been a few occassions when Malouda has had the chance to close someone down and he's casually jogged over towards them. I mean JESUS FUCKING CHRIST MAN.......PUT A BIT OF EFFORT IN. Drogba HAS to come on. I'd take Malouda off and send him off to Siberia on Romans jet. Fucking useless waste of a shirt.

Any streams floating about?

Imo a draw isnt good enough. We need to get as much points on the board asap. We dont play Manu again so we have to rely on them slipping up somewhere along the line and hope we get out of second gear asap. We know this crop of players has it within them to go on a run to push Manu all the way. We need to dig deep and find that desire once more. With taking only 1 point so far off those around us, a win will definately go along way to bringing that desire and belief back to our play. The last thing I want to see today is another performance like that we put in against Manu. We simply didnt turn up.
-
I'm not......I havent been as confident in some time going into a game. We've got ourselves on a mini run atm and 4 wins on the bounce will certaily give us a confidence boost going into this. Liverpool on the other hand are dropping points all over the shop. They're there for the taking. How bad do we want it ?
-
Of course he wont, just giving my thoughts on things. For the little amount of time Stoch has been on the pitch ( all of 20+ minutes) this season he's looked more dangerous than Malouda has been the whole time he's been here. I wouldnt have Deco anywhere near the team on Sunday.
-
Against Liverpool we'll need a physical presence upfront and I feel we need Drogba to start. Carragher and Skrtel will have Anelka in their pockets if we look to him as the target man. I know we'll be looking to hit them on the break, but defensively Drogba is a better player to have in the box defending set pieces which is causing us so many problems atm. When he came on last night you could see there was a bit more oomph to our attack. He drove at the Boro defenders and looked to make things happen. Anelka also looked pretty good in the second half, he linked up well a few times with Drogba and for me it showed there is potential for them to be paired together if Scolari ever decides to play 4-4-2. The defence picks itself. Riccy is injured so Alex will continue to parner JT. The midfield trio of Lampard, Mikel and Ballack for me is a must. Deco is too lightweight for this game as we'll need to get hold of the ball in midfield and take the game by the scruff of the neck if we're to get anything out of it. Ballacks aerial ability would also be another factor in picking him over Deco. So who plays out wide?...... Kalou has staked his claim after his double against Boro, but Malouda for me offers nothing and once he got tackled early in the first half against Boro he went into hiding and didnt want to know. I'd love LFS to have a bit of balls and throw Stoch in from the start. He's an unknown quantity and from what I've seen of him in his last few appearences he's lightning quick and has very clever feet. Exactly the sort of thing we've been missing for years down the flank. We'll need a bit of creativity in the team now that we've lost Cole for the rest of the season. Stoch can be the answer. Its a big ask of a the youngster, but he looks to have no fear. Its a game we must win. If we drop points of any sort Manu will start to edge further and further away. Theres not a better time to play Liverpool, so come on Scolari......Its all or nothing.
-
Great result tonight and even better results elsewhere. We still need to be doing more to break teams down though.
-
FUCKING YEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS GET INNNNNNN
-
I dont understand that substitution. Boro have 10 men behind the ball. We dont need to have a holding midfielder(Mikel) in this game. I'd have took him off and played Drogba and Anelka together with Malouda and Kalou providing the width to stretch their defence and create space. With continuing to have 1 man upfront we're playing into their hands.
-
We really need something more upfront. Anelka isnt doing much due to the fact he's 2 CB's on his arse and they're picking him off. Drogba is a must as he'll give a bit more presence and their defenders something to think about.
-
I had that link, but it wouldnt work for me. Until now All I can say is.... FUCK YOU PREMIER LEAGUE MONEY GRABBING BASTARDS. DO YOU NOT GET ENOUGH MONEY, NOW YOU PUT A BLOCK ON STREAMING SITES. SUCK MY FAT ONE.
