Exactly.. there should be no explanation for y we are or we are not pursuing a player !!! Most of the time clubs use speculation as smokescreens for their actual targets.. And giving explanations for player departures could be fatal too.. the club saying one thing and if the player comes out and says something totally different, it would be bad PR... so i understand wer the club is coming from..

Absolutely !! If ricky, deco and paulo do leave thats a massive decrease in our wage bill... this could easily help us in accomodating atleast 2 big name signings quite easily.. Not that Im saying 2 big name signings are a must.. The only logical explanation would be that he would have demanded 1st team football which Chelsea could have not garunteed. There were voices of concern since last january that a move was on the cards since he was not committing to a new contract. So instead of keeping him and losing him for nothing I guess we decided to cash in.. Bad move for the club as a whole but can see where the club is coming from as well...

@ Badboy > Im afraid thats not poor judgement !!!what i meant was that he is not Ronaldo-esque or Messi-esque or even Robben-esque when it comes to taking on people at full pace..They are world class wingers.. But what he is good at is his excellent touches within the box and putting the ball in the back of the net.. Thats y he is a world class striker !!! And that was y I was asking if he would make a good winger in our 4-3-3 formation.. 1 thing we both agree is he is definitely world-class !! And when Aston Villa want 30m for Milner, I can see y Atleti would not let Kun go for any less than 40m..

The thing is he is an excellent 2nd striker.. But will he fit in our 4-3-3 ?? Would he be happy to play the right winger role that Nico/Kalou currently take ?? Would he be effective playing there? Im a massive fan of Aguero, he has excellent close control and technique but not equally good in dribbling which is what wingers would primarily need.. Maybe Im jus being skeptical... I hope he comes and proves me wrong

Higuain is really world class.. But Im not sure if he is the type of player who we really should be looking at.. I want some one with exceptional dribbling ability to be signed.. Who can run at players frm the rite wing to compliment malouda on left.. But I cant come up wd any good right sided wingers other than Messi !!! And NO, I do not rate Ribery..

Well said Matterz.. Even I think Ballack has been good this season.. Not exceptional.. But still pretty effective.. Sound technical play & good positional sense.. Knows when to foul opponents to stop counter attacks without getting a yellow card As for someone new, I would luv to see either Schweinsteigger (Not sure of the spelling) or Milner.. both are pacy, tricky wingers turned into CM.. Can cover the RW, LW or CM.. really put in a shift in every match they play.. Either of them, Lamps and Ess would make a wonderful midfield trio !!! Milner wud probably cost a lot more as hes English.. But I still think we shd go for him..
