I dont think you are being annoying begging for tickets, but the problem is nobody here has got tickets to see Chelsea so that's why nobody has responded to you.The Pub really isnt the place where you will find tickets. Pretty much all the members who frequent the pub are from outside of England, so we usually never go to Stamford Bridge! Try the Tickets Section or Viagogo, you'll have a way bigger chance of finding tickets there...

LOL, comeback once the season is done! It will be so fucking funny now that you have jumped the gun!!!

Nobody is saying that, but the truth is Lukaku just isnt first team material (at least not now).I wouldnt go into a season in which Lukaku is my main striker. That has bust written all over it! If he accepts that and agrees to be the second option for a couple of seasons, then great. But if he wants to be first choice, he should be looking to move or go to yet another loan because he isnt ready to lead a team with the aspirations of a Chelsea atm! In an ideal world we would get rid of our current strikers and enter next year with a new striker + Lukaku. However, we know how difficult it will be for that to happen...

Again, that is not the point! City has to lose 4 points, but we have to win 7 straight games (being one at Anfield). Do you honestly think we will go 100% until the end of the season?

Not really, because it wasnt just against Villa that we dropped silly points... What about WBA twice? West Ham? Newcastle? Stoke? Etc. Every game is worth the same amount of points, no matter when they are played. Had we won against WBA at least at home, losing to Villa wouldnt have been such a tremendously bad result. If we lose the title, the Villa loss will be only ONE of the reasons why...

No and no! Denilson was one of the best dribblers I've ever seen. Of the Brazilians, I would only put Garrincha (aka. God) in front of him! The problem is that he wasnt effective at all. As Barbara said, he would dribble for the sake of dribbling and never ever did anything useful with it. Now, sorry, but to say Lucas is better than Willian is pure blasphemy. He may have the potential to be better, but right now Willian is miles ahead of Moura. There is a reason why TWO world champions coaches are picking Willian over Lucas!!!

Imagine against Bayern!

No, it doesnt! United isnt fighting for anything, 3 points today will ultimately mean nothing... I would never prefer to see Chelsea lose, NEVER. However, if Corinthians and Palmeiras were in the same situation, I would much prefer to see Palmeiras lose one single game than to see our biggest ever rival win a title!!! Does that make me a disgraceful fan? Nope. I'll grant you that the rivalry between Corinthians x Palmeiras is 1000000 times bigger, but the principle is the same!

I also wouldnt, but that doesnt mean they are wankers just because we disagree with them! If they prefer to lose than to see their majour rivals win the league after more than two decades, let them do it. It is not our problem and we shouldnt judge! Rivalry isnt something rational, it's a feeling...

I am a grumpy old man!

Do we really need a thread only for that?

Why? If they feel (as United fans) they prefer to lose than to see Liverpool win the League, they are perfectly entitled to it!

That is actually a good description of his problems/mistakes and, although you have a very pessimistic view, I tend to agree with you! The difference is I believe he will work around them and improve to become a top quality player. I think he is a very focused individual (unlike Denilson or Robinho) and that will go in his favour. To be honest, I see a lot of young Robben in him. Lucas, like Arjen, is somewhat selfish and keeps making bad decisions. But they both have loads of talent and work extremely hard, thus creating more upsides than downsides. With a strong and organized team on their side, both can thrive. For instance, look at Robben in Real Madrid that you will see Lucas' same mistakes written all over it; but look at Robben in Bayern and you will see what Moura CAN become... Dont lose faith in him, Barbara. He may not be World Class, but he definitely not a flop yet!

Lucas is nothing like Denilson. NOTHING! Robinho is Denilson 2.0. They both prefered to party first and play next. Improving was never their priority. And even though, they had their few moments of brilliance. However, Lucas is hard working and has a decent staff behind him. Plus the fact he will miss the World Cup will certainly fire him up. He will definitely improve! About flashy dribles and everything, I dont get the prejudice you have towards it. I dont see you complaining whenever Hazard or CR7 does it for your teams. It is quite contraditory. As long as they are objective, dribbles are extremely useful and they are what usually break defences appart! You cant say he is a flop yet, he didnt even have time to do anything. You are jumping the gun way too quickly here...

Is that because it also doesnt get inside the cave? Aka. The Virgin Jake!

Please dont call him Bosscar, it sounds like bosta (shit, in Portuguese) + Oscar!

Stoke and PSG at home, since I have this particular week free. Other than that, I'm super busy!

I very much doubt Mata will play well. He has always struggled against City's physicality, so why the hell would he all of a sudden turn that around with United??? Anyways, I'm expecting a blow-out from ManCity...

I'm Brazilian and I disagree! Lucas is not half as good as the "Sao Paulo" fans make out, but he is definitely not a flop... He is still very raw and in a club that only now is beginning to take shape, but he is hard working and has enough talent to become one of Brazil's best midfielders/fowards (of this generation, of course). Lucas doesnt deserve to be in the 2014 WC, that's true. But that is because he had a tremendous drop in form once he transitioned to Europe and because he is competing against way more marure players, like Hulk and Willian! He will never become a Ronaldinho or a Kaka, but I am certain he will do good. He is not only very talented, but he is actually very focused at inproving (which is extremely important, since talent isnt everything). With time, I'm sure he will change your mind...
