Are you really basing your argument on a goal.com article? Every single serious paper reported the 86mi fee as an all together fee, not a specific transfer fee. And not only that, their contract was made public, there is not even the need to base our argumet on news stories. All one has to do is read the god damn thing... About Barcelona paying 13mi in taxes, it wasnt because they dont want investigations to go further (because it already did), it was for them to not go to court. It is called agreement, they probably felt they would lose more money in a legal process than to settle for a "lower" amount and Spanish Fiscal Department thought the trouble of an actual case (only to win a couple of more millions) was unecessary. Which just proves Barcelona is indeed guilty and they did tried to avoid Spanish's new HUGE tax laws. But that has ultimately nothing to with how much Neymar's transfer was! And for taking Barça's president word, I dont think anyone should. However, that particular quote was said in FIFA and under oath. I guess a little credibility is fair... EDIT: Nevertheless, I am really tired of proving to people Neymar didnt go for 86mi or anything crazy like that. Lets say you still believe he did go for that stupid amount...Where does the taxes come in your equation? Because no one counts it when talking about the fees and what not. For instance, everyone is going about him receiving 300k/week and not 180 something (which is what he will gain after taxes). Funny!

24 teams for the Euros is WAAAAY too much...

No!Firstly because Neymar's transfer was not 86.5mi, it was 57.1mi (couting the 30 something that supposelly went to his father). Secondly because taxes dont count to someone's transfer fee. Do you count that PSG payed 63mi for Cavani or do you count that PSG payed 63mi + 40% French taxes? Did Chelsea pay 37mi for Hazard or 37mi + taxes? What about Bale? CR7? You can view Neymar's contract in both Brazilian and Spanish supreme court websites. The details are exactly 17.1mi to Santos, 10mi to DIS (third party owner) and 30mi for Neymar and his agents. The rest that "add up" to the 86mi MADRID media reported are from the two friendlies + bonuses for future awards + his 2013-2014 salary. I mean, WTF? Who adds bonuses (that he clearly wont receive btw) and salaries into a transfer fee report? If you knew anything about Spanish media, you would understand why Marca and other papers tried to make Neymar more expensive than Bale... EDIT: Here is a paraphrased quote from Barcelona's vice-president (now president) in the FIFA Football Court: "The total expense of Neymar's deal for the 2013-2014 deal can go to 86.5mi, however we reiterate his transfer fee was of 57.1mi including agent and signing fees".

Agree, but it is always better to have Falcao on the squad... More than Colombia's top player, he is their biggest leader in the dressing room!

Chocolate?

Ok, that was way over the top on my part. Sorry!I guess this is what happens after you have 24 beers forced through your throat as a "welcome prank" in University...

I dont care if you dont care! This is an open forum and just because I posted an opinion on the Portuguese League thread it doesnt mean it was intended to you...
-
Benfica is so unlucky though... Everytime they have a big chance of winning an European Cup once again, someone bigger than them gets knocked out of the Champions League (Chelsea, Juventus, etc).

BarceLOLna is so fucked up due to Neymar's deal...

I hope it's true, Colombians bought 65k tickets for the World Cup and it would be a shame if their primary player couldnt participate...As for us signing him, I wouldnt mind it tbh. He is a fantastic player and people dont like to give him half the credit he deserves. He is way better than Diego Costa! I know he is coming out of a big knee injury, but he can definitely recover from it. Ronaldo (fat) had 2 of those more than a decade ago and he came back to win a WC in huge style. So did Adrian Peterson, in only 8 months btw. Not saying we shouldnt be worried, but it doesnt mean Falcao is done just because he had a knee injury. Of course I would prefer Cavani (I'd have actually signed him last summer), but if it is for the right amount (30-35mi), I cant see it doing us any harm...

But in all honesty, comparing Matic to Gundogan is absolutely ridiculous. I doubt he ever saw him play!Matic is like Yaya Toure in his Barcelona spell, while Gundogan feels a lot like Lampard in its early days. Do you have any idea of how crazy it sounds if I posted Lampard and Toure were the same type of players or had very similar characteristics? It just proves some members love to talk about things they dont know... EDIT: And this is not even a one time case. Didierforever, especifically, is an excellent contributor to the forums, but it is more and more common to see people posting absurd opinions in the football threads now. It seems like they dont even watch football anymore, they only play FIFA and then come here to post shit!

You did not take my thanks seriously right...?
-
Thanks!
-
LOL, some people do love to talk about what they definitely dont know...
-
LOL! Fuck you Barcelona!
-
I'm more worried about us lifting the trophy than to see Cardiff getting relegated...
-
It is already happening though... They lost to Liverpool and Bayern and now they fave Stoke away, Everton, Spurs, Chelsea away and Manchester City!!!

You can call him Dave that people wil understand! Dont pay attetion to YouNameIt, he is only being the typical ass he always is....

LEAGUE LEADERS, BITCH!!!
-
FUCK YEAHHH! FUCK YEAAAHHH!!!
-
The sad thing is that Torres wont even be the worst player of our team today!
-
Why dont you save us from your stupid comments?
-
Oscar needs to go, but I highly doubt Jose Mourinho will make any substitution before the 60th minute or so...
-
Oscar is playing worse than Torres at his lowest!
-
Oscar is our worst player on the pitch, but Lampard is not doing anything! He is getting past every fucking time and has not been able to produce one single decent transition...
