I wonder why people think ex-players will always do great at punditry or managerial careers. Players get told what to do and how to do it by others, it just depends on if they can actually do what they are told. Then we have managers like Sarri (ex-banker) and Mourinho (ex-translator), who never were well known for their playing careers and they are two of the hottest managers in the game (granted Mourinho is not well received these days but he has won pretty much everything he can win).

They will be without Kenedy. He is, despite his last shocker of a game, one of their more important players.

I don't remember that at all. Everyone was rooting for him to take over that season, but were sad to see Cech go to Arsenal of all places. I myself wanted the change since it was a generational change where we had a young goalkeeper of great class and potential instead of one that was beginning to show his age a little bit. Also, Courtois was always supported here (even when he said some shit). Everyone rated him as one of the best in the world and we were proud to have him. I remember when we had a 2 legged league cup semi final where this forum went crazy with praises for him for weeks!

Quiet game from him. Of course people will look at the terrible penalty, but I would much rather look at him on the field than just that penalty (we have plenty of players who can score them, he is not needed there). He has the opportunity to take a starting role as a midfielder for his club if he puts his foot on the gas. We all know Barkley is doing everything he can to stay fit and learn this new style we have. RLC must do it as well or face the bench this season.

Hudson-Odoi better get used to that. Like Hazard knows, dribblers don't get away without tackles like that.
