  1. Anyone knocking Sarri here deserves a slap... We all should know by now that Spurs is a great side now, and Chelsea at home is as big as it gets for them!
  2. "Professional Footballer Player" Doubt its real, but who knows!
  3. Great! He really needed that since his loan to Valencia is not going well at all.
  4. Against the team that always turns up when facing us!
  5. Kovacic is a great player! I hope he stays beyond this season as well! Class act on and off the pitch. Knee jerk reactions on here after a game where the team was below average. Kova is not a goal scorer, and we knew that from the beginning. However, he is a terrific dribbler that can get the ball in midfield and carry it forward with speed past 1-3 players. He has great technical qualities and can pass the ball well. He also seems to never lose the ball. At least not because of a great error of his part. That is the only similarity I see with him and Jorginho in playing style (does not lose the ball nearly at all). Only complaint is that he sometimes jumps into sliding tackles when there is a risk that he might foul the player seriously. I think he made a tackle like this against Everton where if he had hit the player, he would probably have gotten a red.
  6. Conte managing Real would be a very interesting mixture. At least, the next job he gets I wish him nothing but good fortunes.
  7. It affects everything. Niggling pain, even if not severe, can impact your whole life!
  8. So frustrating that there are no news over his injury. At least I can't seem to find any!
  9. Tread carefully. Anyone remember Michu for Swansea?
  10. Seems like Newcastle fell apart after Kenedy went off. Good signs for Kenedy! Atsu was hopeless in this game unfortunately. Ruined attack after attack. Ref pretty much gave Utd the lifeline they needed because if Newcastle would have gotten the pen from the (CLEAR!) handball and scored - 3-0 would be something they would never have overcome.
  11. Criticising him for that is the "pathetic" thing here. This view, that many have, that men are not allowed to show emotion or open up to what they are feeling is one of the root causes for why so many young men suffer depression at some point in their life. Childish behavior from, tbh, lesser men thinking they are "big and strong".
  12. Oh of course Jay is a LB. I forgot Regarding Reece James, according to what people are saying about him this season it looks like he isn't that far from Callum and Ethan when it comes to quality.
  13. Looked a man just wanting to do well and impress. Good game. Should have scored and should have gotten a pen.
  14. I guess Sarri is looking to top our group and then intergrade youth. Lets see what happens. He has only been here for three months, and he already gave Hudson-Odoi a chance against City in the Community Shield. I do worry though that Hudson-Odoi does not get to play because he hasn't signed a new contract.
  15. Also, the save against Mané is a save that if De Gea made it there would be hundreds of news articles about how he is the best in the world with that save showing it... Great passes as well bar one pass that went out!
  16. It looked kinda grim the first 2 games, but wow how well Lampard has been doing in his first months as manager. Hopefully he keeps it up and improves!
  17. Bulka, Ampadu and CHO train with the first team always, unless they are playing for the u21's in the next 3 days or some.
  18. Come on its a photo shoot isn't it? Of course he wants the hair to look nice!
  19. Seeing some comments on here dissing Rudiger. What did he do wrong exactly? He pushed the opposition player hand away at a free kick scenario. Nearly every player does that now and again. Then the player tried to make it look like he punched him and Rudiger scolds him (rightly so, we all should be able to agree on that this kind of faking has no place in the game). When Rudiger scolds him the player puts his hands on his throat! Then he tries to shake the players hand after the game and he is being bitter about it still, even after everyone knows he faked it. Rudiger is now getting a rep for being a "dirty player" because of the Pavard incident, which was an accident btw and even Pavard said it was not a problem. Players will try to use that to their advantage now if people keep on with this propaganda. Just you watch...
  20. Surprised not to see any gifs or whatever of his save from a header in the last minutes of the game against Cardiff. The on where Luiz is supposed to have "fouled" inside the box. Its good for him to gel in while we have 70+ of the ball all game since he doesn't have to do that much. Hopefully that helps getting the "new team nerves" out.
