I don't get the negativity towards him. I think he did very well bringing in players like Courtois, KdB, Morata and Kante. The Papy and Hector deals don't really matter since they haven't stunted our growth as a club at all! Hopefully we get someone who can do as well as he did, preferably even better! Also. Many of you won't remember, but he actually convinced Neymar to come to Chelsea when he was at Santos. Santos president had to do everything he could to convince him to stay.

What do you people think of us buying Richarlison? He is already tearing it up with Watford and is still very young. Willian and Pedro are not getting any younger. Also with Watford, Marcos Silva is probably one of the brightest young managers out there. When Conte leaves (hopefully after a long time) who knows?

I had 3 chances in mind when I wrote that actually. He had the chance where he should have scored but shot it next to the goal. That was pretty bad. His goal that was deemed offside (because of Azpi who wasn't offside) should have stood. Unlucky... His great play where Begovic made a terrific save should really have been a goal. Unlucky since it wasn't a bad shot considering the circumstances.

Azpi terrific! As was Rudiger. His positive attitude and work hustle is admirable. Like him a lot! Bakayoko has to work on his passing. It seems that he doesn't usually know if anyone is at the spot he is passing to. Morata unlucky not to have scored.

He did that a lot. Used his hands more than his feet in this game! He also was scolding players like Bats for not pressuring enough on occasion. Fun to see.

Since Carabao (energy drink company) is one of Chelsea's sponsors you would think fans would recognize the name. They are sponsoring the cup I guess by buying the name rights. Like "The Emirates cup".
