I know Sarri is a breath of fresh air when it comes to honesty, but maybe he should not have said this to the press. Christensen can go to the very top. In order to do that though he has to get over this mental block.

Watching Sarris press conference. He looks and sounds like a mafioso going to get revenge. I can imagine it won't be a fun next practice for the players. Well deserved for them for that When your mentality isn't right your passing and application isn't right, you lose your 50/50 balls and don't have that burst of pace that you need at the highest level. I agree with Sarri here. Even though I don't agree with his selection of Willian and Alonso. Those players can and should do better, along with the others. Not even angry, just disappointed...

Tbh what did you guys think? CHO has played 80 mins against Forest and 90 mins against Spurs. Sarri said he was a little tired. We have no other wingers since RLC is injured so obviously Willian will start. Do we have a winger or striker in the academy that we can rely on in a very difficult game against Newcastle?

I have a feeling that has more to do with the team not having good enough runners. Morata often stands still, Hazard doesn't stay in the striker position and Willian often stands still too.

Thats weird, in my opinion he is alright at set pieces. I know Alonso is better since he is taller, but Emerson has showed that he can score from a set piece while also defending them against teams that relied on them to get something out of the game.

What really is annoying with Alonso is that we have a player that is quicker than him, Hazard likes a lot, can do the same free kick as him, will be much more worrying for the opponents and has been patiently waiting for a while for a chance to show this. If anything, you would think Sarri would realize that Alonso can get fatigued and give Emerson a shot in the league. He had a great game against Liverpool, which is a much better team than Tottenham tbh. Emerson always looks like he is proud to be a blue. Even tapped the badge when he scored against Liverpool and hugged the intruding fan before the players.

We played very well. Owned 70% of the game. Spuds players were really scared in the second half hoofing it up just to get a moment to breathe. If we have this game again in the second leg we can win I am sure of it. CHO is really, really good! Sarri has to keep playing him and the board has to make him stay. At least until the summer because we NEED him right now. Only gripe I have with him is that his shooting is kinda weird, and almost always goes straight at the keeper. I get what he is trying to do, a low shot in the bottom corners (most effective shots tbh), but he might want to think about just putting his laces through instead of overthinking his shot. I am quite content even though we lost. If we play like this every game for what is left of the season we can easily get top four.

Hit the post twice, and had good goal scoring chances. If the game keeps like this, and we switch it up a notch at the press on their defenders I am confident it will be a Chelsea win. Annoying with the penalty. Had me fuming! Can't blame Kepa though.

He said that over the past month he has improved a lot in the defensive phase. That is the thing that Sarri wanted him to improve on. Cudicini mentioned it after our last game that he did very well in the defensive phase, especially when he "ran for two" when Ampadu got a little knock. This much rather makes me believe that CHO wants to improve himself to become one of the first names on the team sheet, and he is doing so while impressing the coaching staff. People must take note that he did a lot of work in the last game against Forest, so he might not be able to play a full game against Spurs tomorrow.
