  1. Would go for Cole, in terms of pace, and general defending. I also noticed how well he links up with Joe Cole when playing for Ingerland.
  2. I could see Kenyon letting him go for 15 m. But we should hang onto the little imp.
  3. Highly likely its exagerrated. Would we sell SWP now ? Been outstanding recently. Ere' Kev , you can have Sidwell, Haim and Pizarro.
  4. At least it makes the Prem a bit more lively -emotional Kev at his best . Remember when he was asleep in his Range Rover and got battered by a load of blokes with baseball bats ?
  5. Ahh, the old War Cup. Attendances were down due to the global conflict, so Sir Ranulf-Cockburn Bates, father of Ken, decided with Lord Cuntishbury of the FA to stage a 2 leg War Cup with Millwall. Many troops were allowed dispensation from the front line for a 'hoolie ruck'. (are you taking this in Hingis ? its for your benefit). Anyway, the first leg at Old The Den, saw more casualties than Dunkirk, (mainly Old William), and mainly celery wounds. Outside the Den http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1060/904395...ade45c907_o.jpg ..and the second leg was called off because Hitler had opened up a second front in the East.
  6. You're right Frank hate violence, though threw a ball of wool at my cat once. Fight ? Too much taboo with kids going in pubs nowadays. When you think we were going in boozers 13-14 years old, the landlord turning a deaf eye. Now kids have to go in churchyards or waste ground with flagons of booze, and god knows what theyre up to, but it's out of sight. Drugs, shagging and kicking people to death....
  7. All this suing each other is thanks to another infection of Yank culture. People afraid to let kids be kids and young men grow up. Its no coincidence the suicide rate of young people has gone up as well, too many expectations. It all went wrong with arrival of all seater stadia and the disappearance of organised hooliganism. Never done me no harm. *violently twitches*
  8. Well its seen as a lot as hes relatively untested. Only 10 appearances for Serbia because they have such quality defenders. If he hadn't been under contract till 2011 -would have been around £5 million. Still, hes definitely one for the future and a four year contract at £50 000 a week is good business.
  9. Yeah as Tri Blue says hes great mates with Vidic apparently, and the reason he cost so much was because he was under contract at Locomoiv till 2011.
  10. I see the Daily Mail is speculating that Bridge will now leave , and are resurrecting the shite that the arrival of the new bloke means Rafa will get Bridge.
  11. Mmm Belletti seems invaluable at the moment. The new bloke could be edged in slowly, doesn't seem the prima donna type that will demand appearances. Hopefully Ben Haim will fuck off now.
  12. Interesting. Tim Vickery that BBC Football bloke who covers South American football rates him highly. What he doesnt know about South American Football isn't worth knowing. He also said his dad was the Brazilian great Zizhino.
  13. Good post. Other teams fans took the piss when we were languishing in the 2nd half of Div 2 , saw us as the mighty fallen, - but not when they had to clean up and lick their wounds after we had 'visited'. As for that 1935 game CM how very impudent young man. I'm not nearly old enough to have attended. However my first game 1936 season against Jackie Milburns Leeds, there was a right old fracas as the Leeds 'Flying Scotsman Crew' tried to attack us, a scruffy mob getting halfpenny transfers to the 'benches'. Needless to say the Northern Pie Eaters were repulsed by us Chelsea 'Flat Cap Hunters'. The Leeds 'Flat Cappers' who were losing 2-0 then tried a dastardly trick of game abandonment, here seen being restrained by 'the Old William' http://cache.viewimages.com/xc/2667361.jpg...55A1E4F32AD3138
  14. Looks just like him in the technical area. Fucking hell thats uncanny Elliott
  15. Interesting Tri Blue about McCleish being Fergusons ally. Arsenals luck was against them with Brum, and West Ham won there as well. Fairly certain Anelka will open his account this game, and 3 points bagged.

  17. WARSAW (Reuters) - A Polish man got the shock of his life when he visited a brothel and spotted his wife among the establishment's employees. Polish tabloid Super Express said the woman had been making some extra money on the side while telling her husband she worked at a store in a nearby town. "I was dumfounded. I thought I was dreaming," the husband told the newspaper on Wednesday. The couple, married for 14 years, are now divorcing, the newspaper reported. 18. Although countless players say 'its my last club' etc ,hes not worthy of 'Le Sulk' tag anymore. Definitely matured. Does Avram know he converted to Islam in Turkey ?
  19. Chelsea captain John Terry's recuperation from a broken foot has progressed so well he hopes to be playing again before the end of the month. Daily Telegraph
  20. Dont think he'll be around much if his track records anything to go by, and hes more a loner than a team player. That said some of the deadliest striker assassins have been iof that mould. Cantona, Ruud etc. Hes said his aim is to win the CL this year. If he helps us win Chelsea our first CL or the PL his name will go down in Chelsea history though.
  21. Surely Stoch is due a run out any time soon ?
  22. ..and the good thing is when Drogba, Essien , Lampard return -though maybe not JT so much, they'll have to fight for their places a bit thus raising their game.
