IMO Lloris is a better shot stopper than De Gea, who often misjudges shots but makes up for it with his great reflexes. That is why he often does make extremely dodgy saves. anyway Courtois is way better than both including shot-stopping.

Rakitic would be an immense signing my favourite for the pivot after Kovascic.Ivan Rakitic is a complete box-to-box midfielder, a mixture of Lampard and Schweinsteiger, maybe not as talented but a tad faster. He has amazing set pieces, can cross, decent passing over all ranges, is able to keep and distribute the ball with pace and in tight spaces. He would be perfect as the more offensive player next to Matic, cos he, even though never neglecting his defensive responsibilites has the ability to arrive in the box just at the right time hence he uses to score regularly. His weaknesses are that he sometimes lacks accuracy when under pressure and he does not break through the opposition's midfield with passes and dribblings as much as he should (see Kovascic who does just that with ease). He also is already 26 so I have no clue if he will still develop. Though a bonus is, Rakitic is a big game player. btw speaking of kovascic/Rakitic + matic anyone got an idea whether there is still bad blood between Serbia and Croatia and would that affect a DP partnership?

If this was like 2 years ago with Drogs still there and Lamps with something left in the tank, I'd be convinced we would wipe the floor with PSG. But I today I am hugely suspicious that a midfield with any of Lamps, Mikel (? injured ?) and Luiz can prevent PSG from running at our defence. We either have to commit numbers forward hence exposing the backline or be more conservative resulting in hoping for individual brilliance by Hazard or maybe Willian for the goals. We got some of the most exciting talent in world football, some experienced veterans that will still be there next year an army of loaned players, some of them probably will turn out good and almost all deadwood can be easily replaced. the future is bright no matter the result today. It is a big difference playing striker in bundesliga and playing striker against top class CB in the epl and PL, wich the bundesliga barely got any of outside the top teams.
