wonder if a draw or a palace win is better here. palace are now on 14 just and 0 gd. if we win tomorrow we will surpass them.
-
that is clearly a goal. surely onside

But is he not the exact same player as Conor gallagher? Rcie has never really struck me as anything special. But he is just 20 and already an okish PL player. Anyhow, i think we should spend big on finished superstars for the positions we do not have sufficiently talented players from our youth only instead of buying okish players for squad roles as we did the last few years.

Agent van Aanholt equalized for palace vs West Spam. this could still turn out the perfect matchday for us again. We should get into the top 4 asap to settle nerves and this right now also requires Leicester and the Spammers to drop points.

damn what a horrid week for Lloris, lets hope he gets better soon. These injuries can be career wrecking at that age. Anyway, happy spurs are losing and they do not look one bit like turning this around. Wouldn't have known from last weekend that Brighton can actually play football tho.

As much as I hate Willian and like Pulisic as a player, i can not belive how may people are demanding starts for Pulisic. Have a little patience. Other than the super cup Puli has been absolute shite. Always doing the same thing, sprinting down the line, scoffing his shot or falling over. Producing turnover after turnover. Leaving Azpi exposed. Willians introduction has stabilized us and improved the transition with his ability to carry the ball. Also he is positionally disciplined. No one noticed Azpis drastic improvement in form? Willian has helped him out a lot and we are not conceding goals from.the right almost every game unlike when Pulisic started. To my absolute disgust replacing Pulisic with Willian has been a clever short term fix to two of our most obvious problems in the opening games. I understand people want to see more of Puli, he is young, great pace, American, 60m signing etc and his time will come. But right now he is not what we need.

Good for us. Less probability to get injured or tired just riding the bench for england. But still can call himself senior internationaln to boost his confidence.
-
Tomori is becoming the new Luiz. Great passing range, skill and pace with the occasional fuck up.
-
Could make it 4 wins on the spin. Willian obviously will start, Mount might need a break. Not sure if Reece did enough to displace Azpi just yet. I did not like the Zouma Tomori partnership. Can not wait für Rüdiger and Emerson to come back. The sheer pace of that back line will enable us to play way higher line and dominate teams even more. CHO indeed deserves to start. He always has endproduct.

Ecstatic about the win. Wednesday night in rainy Flanders, this was never gonna be pretty. After a great opener and once again a frustrating corner goal conceded, the game was growing increasingly flat as usually 90% of halftime draws in these kind of constellations remain as such in fulltime. But Lampard said "I am not having this" and made the proactive match-winning substitution. We needed a result and grinded one out. This is the mark of top teams.

I hope CHO was watching today. The goals from Gnabry were an absolute masterpiece of an inverted winger playing exploiting space. the anticipation, the awareness, the close control, the fnishing, perfect execution on all 4 goals.
-
dafuq. concede 7 at home in the CL alright. BAyern have been absolutely clinical tho
-
Gnabry has become such a beast, absolute blitz goals. Tottenham are really unimpressive this season tho. Shows you that too much stagnation for too long will just make you ordinary. Mind this is about their best possible team , probably best ever team with Son, Eriksen, Kane, Lloris, Eriksen, Alderweireld, Rose all in their prime.

It is statistically evident that refs are at least subconciously influenced by power patterns as bigger clubs and home teams are generally favoures. In this case the linesman, the utd players and the fans all tried to dissuade Auba from finishing that off so credit to him for staying in the zone. Mark of a true scorer. The linesman however should be probed. Not only was he plain wrong, he tried to interfere with play against the policy of letting play on and even continued waving his flag for a few seconds instead of realizing his clear misbehaviour.
-
Best possible result for us. Our poor start to the season did not cost us as much as expected. We obviously would never have had a say in the title race anyway but top 4 is still doable with how poor the teams around us have been. Our offensive play looks much better than what we saw today and our form should go with young team and manager learning. Ole looks super one dimensional by now and Arsenal is just milking off Auba.

Alcohol problem or not. That is just plain unprofessional. Not sure if he had monday off but to be seen at 11pm 400km away from your workplace less than 3 days before an away match eating Chips would be weird in any job. But the real shame is even if this is not illegal or contract-breaking he has been wasting his once immense potential like this for years. He could have become a quality player but he is his own worst enemy. Then again it could be worse. He never was talented like Gascoigne, Basler, Adriano, never would have become absolute world class anyway.he is just a squad player. Would be madder if Tammy or Mount would do shit like that. Lamps should have a word with him nonetheless.
-
VAR this time vital. How can you initially give offside for that. He was 4m onside.
-
I'd rather he sit that one out and be rested till after the international break but I guess Lamps will roll him out as we badly need the win.
-
He is so young, he can still get faster by plyometric training etc would not worry. If it is not because of his achilles tendon, any muscle imbalances will surely be outgrown at some point.
-
You mean the commentators, yeah there is one brit and one with a strange accent and choice of words. As for the 3 guys in studio at halftime I am pretty sure 2 were American.
-
Tbf that was a mental save by Oblak
-
What a borefest. Our game vs Brighton had 10x more intensity. But really had to laugh at the yank moderators slacking off Hazard. Not that he is any good today but what do these Murica mummies even know about "soccer" ?
-
Pulisic has lightning pace. Even more than Sancho or CHO. He might not become a world beater but he still can be a an asset like duff or gronkjaer at their peak. If he gets Lamps system, becomes sharper and alert he will be dangerous in the press and in counter attacks. If he was not American he would not be here surely but now he is we can make the best of it and not write him off before he has had a proper look in.
-
If we can get a world class striker, cb and at least a very good left back and left footed right winger we will be in contention for everything again.
-
When you have alonso next to you (or rather 70m in front of you) and still keep a clean sheet you are always in contention for motm
