they must be absolutely kidding. no way City are gonna accept that. Even if Sterling does want to go there, City would ask for straight cash and not one of their washed-up players.
-
This might work against us, in the past few games the more opposition fans the better ^^

I am truly sorry, I did not know that. May he rest in peace. I have been there as well. Spectacularly beautiful, definitely will come back. And people in the Dinaric Alps are truly a bit taller than maybe even the Dutch and much more burly as well. But the area is very sparsely populated so you do not really see that many super tall people in one spot. Neither is Sweden. I think Amsterdam is probably the 'tallest' major city (<500k inhabitants) on earth then maybe Stockholm and some German ones. The relative effect of non-european immigrants is strong in Sweden. But in Frankfurt 1/3 are foreigners and still has that 1.837 average, so if you only look at 20-40, white Germans, you might even increase taht a bit. Then again other German cities have an average of just 1.75 so all in all we are not that tall. I did not know that for Lesbian relationships there is a preference for minimal height difference (?) but I guess it makes sense. For me, even though height development of a population is somewhat an interesting indicator of wealth, nutrition etc, the attractiveness of a partner is not really dependent on height. My tallest girl has been 1.90 and my shortest 1.52, so every height can be attractive with the right attitude

At this moment with how it is going wrong and how inconsistently it is used I would say it should only be used for offside decisions and things that the ref has not seen. Let the ref decide on pens and fouls. For non-factual decisions there is just another ref with another opinion and a power/responsibility struggle who gets it right. You are perfectly right... there clearly is even more possibility of matches being manipulated via VAR and we are seeing exactly this. The penalty vs us, liverpool, tottenham this is no coincidence. Damn thats one tall family. If you had brothers they would be absolute trees. I would give your Dad the 2m though. My 1.92 is straight out of bed with some stretching too, so 1cm extra might be achieved with enough effort and proper posture/positioning haha I guess there are more important things than height but it pretty much defines one's first sight impression, has come in handy in casual dating often enough lol, my female friend who is almost the same height as me however is so desperate despite the male population of German metropolitan areas of Frankfurt, Hamburg (male average 1.84) being among the tallest in the world. Guys like Söyüncü look like any regular dude here as well as in any EPL backline. Which is what is so annoying that English commentatory treat anyone taller than 6ft like some kind of magical creature and praise players physical attributes completely neglecting the skill aspect, even when their height is completely unrelated to their style of play.
-
lol "man mountain Söyüncü". He is like 5cm shorter than me and I have never been called that -.- the appetitte for exaggerations from english commentators reminds me of WWE

Palace have been absolutely poor tho. Roy had no better ideas than camping all his 6'3 dudes in the leicester box burnign their energy going up and down the putch every time giving leicester enough time to recover and organize themselves. Would be disappointed if we can not go there and beat the convincingly as well. Leicester are very clever and mature tho. When has Rodgers learned how to defend?
-
damn maybe we should have bought Jamie vardy for that 30m back then in 2016. 3 years on til lthen, the guy is turning 33 in 2 months and no show of decline.... not playing at top level till 28 clearly prolonged his career.
-
In a game as cagey as this one, this could already be decided. Torrid defending from CP on that corner. Shows how height advantage isbnot everything in set pieces

As long as Ole and Emery keep their jobs, top4 is safe I feel. And yeah fuck Livarpool. It has been theie title from day 1 tho, the FA made sure of that. But they can not fix matches for them next season, that would harm the competitiveness od the leacue and the product itself. Even Bundesliga is more suspenseful this season.

Game proceeded as expected. We score a beautiful goal, the opposition goalie has tzevgame of his life oreventing us fron goibg 4-0 up, the ref and sone stupid action combine to gift to the oppostion that makes us sweat. Great win still. Happy for Jorginho for that awesome assist, prime Lanpard style pass. Kovacic was at fault for keeping hold of the ball this long leading up to their pen in the first place IMO. Also happy for tammy to score again. Perfect timing, same for Pulisics run. We had Willian when he was 25 to 27 and he sucked balls back then😄 But agree it is the first time i see hin play well when the team does well. His prior purole patches were in 2015/16 and 2017/18 were the team was torrid.

I am not saying Tomroi is faultltess, he commits mistakes on his own. But how often have we seen Tomori stepping out and closing down the opposition winger on our left side running into the space Alonso has stupidly vacated?
-
Was a typo, I meant yesterday he offered nothing in attack which he definitely did not. His goal vs Newcastle was vital. Yet, I do not think his occasional attacking output justifies his overall shittiness. He more often than not leaves us vulnerable and commits stupid mistakes and turnovers. I do not think his goalscoring stats are so outstanding that this remedies his defensive incapacities. He maybe scores 5,6 goals per season if he is lucky. In the history of scoring defenders this is probably not even in the top 100. You talk about him like he is Koeman. But we concede more than 6 goals per season because of his individual mistakes. Tomori has papered over a lot of his fails now that Tomori was rested his incredible stupidity in tackling, passing and positioning was evident once more.
-
Absolutely useless once more. He offers nothing in attack, misplaced easy passes and even though was soft dafuq can such an experienced player be so stupid to make a challenge from behind in his own box. That foul was even more silly than the pen Zouma conceded. Emerson clearly was not fit otherwise Lamptey and Azpi would not have been on the bench. Alonso rode his luck that this is the first match he has cost us this season so some might have forgotten how shit he is. It is time he gets benched again.

I agree. These posts trying to downgrade Ajax just to make the point that we suck in big games yet are bizarre. Ajax are clearly a club of great relevance in the history of modern football and one of the top European sides of last season. So based on history and current form they are clearly a big club. Obviously if we focus on 1998 to 2017 they were a bit underwhelming but that would be somewhat artificial. We were much cleverer in that match tho and still conceded more chances than today. Utds are a side that are only good at defending nd suck at creating chances so last thing one should do is gift them easy goals. Once you fall behind it is virtually impossible to overcome their bus
-
Dude, thanks for everything especially all those important goals in 2016/17 but please get the fuck out of the club asap.
-
Thats what I am talking about. Stupid mistakes from players who are not good enough for this club cost us. But it is also a group mentality thing to grind out results in big games in which we are not at our best. Today Utd had 1.5 genuine chances and scored 2 goals. We had tons of chances and missed all of them and scored a fluke.
-
you kidding? most of our best players have been injured for most of the season, our best 3 are still out. Still, we have played with higher quality than most of our top4 rivals. This was one shit game were our remaining shit players and a corrupted ref have cost us. nothing more. get the head out of the sand and get over it. who gives a damn about carabao cup. Future is bright.
-
It remains we are absolute shit vs big teams domestically. NOt becuase we do not play well but because of mentality. Committing the stupidest mistakes to let absolute shit teams like utd steal a win from us.When they come here they are never here to play they are here to park the bus, play thugball and hoof the ball in the air. So the only thing you should not do is committing stupid mistakes and give them dangerous set pieces which is exactly what those turds Alonso and Pedro did. I mean you have to be clever, composed, experienced. But how if you most experienced players are tactically behaving like toddlers. I cant belive the sheer stupidity of fouling their useless players who can not do shit with a moving ball. jsut let them run and hoof it into the stands no fucking need to foul them. Oh well at least it is just the 2nd round so we can concentrate on other competitions.
-
Zouma and guehi have been decent despite being a disaster to happen on paper esp together with caballero and alonso. Emerson not fit yet i guess. We denied them any chanced they just scored from their gifted set pieces.
-
Alonso and pedro are the poorest players in a team full of rookies. Get shot.
-
So because both teams are shit the game does not deserve a proper ref?
-
Obviously mctominay gets away with murder
-
Pedro commits the foul and then does not Jump in the wall what an absolute shadow this guy has become
-
ManUre are a team who are incapable of scoring from open play so we give away stupid pens and freekicks.
-
Yup only country were a game vs ManUre is commentated and officiated by ManUre fans.
