CHELSEA FC PUB CLUBHOUSE OF KEVIN ARNOLD ASHBURNER
Muzchap replied to KevinAshburner's topic in General Chat
Think you missed a trick A lot of those are already dead - you could have had 2 teams Dead vs Alive Hitler should definitely be a nominated free kick / pk taker - he's got the arm signal down to perfection and his shaky run-up on PKs is in vogue...- 565 replies

Best Moment = Munich - being there was amazing Worst Moment(s) = Generally visiting TC in close season
-
That sounds more believable than Arsenal.... World Cup is deceptive though - some of Chile's players were distinctly average in the EPL and Championship...
-
Oh well I never made it to Uruguay - and I doubt the English will be welcome there now One less country to visit after Qatar

I guess you don't have kids? Monkey see, monkey do - is how children are influenced, parenting and education provide a filter for behaviour - along with children finding 'role models' Suarez did something that was so out of the ordinary for a football match, it's hard for parents to explain (rationally) and to ensure kids don't think this behaviour is acceptable. Football has worked hard (especially in the UK) to get rid of racism, fighting and bad language - so that the sport millions of children follow can be enjoyed by the whole family - this is a good thing. I'm sure you can twist my words to suit your agenda - fair play - I always read your posts and try to understand the different angle you take, I like that - it challenges my thoughts and opinions. But, I'm really struggling to understand your perspective on this.

The thing is - if he HAD ADMITTED IT and apologised - I think his punishment would have been less. Not admitting it, threatening to sue FIFA etc is never going to end well That's why he's a MASSIVE BELL END along with all of his supporters. Admit you did something wrong, take the punishment like a man and move on... I mean the video evidence is there - why even deny it?
-
Well he won't do it again right? That's the whole concept behind punishment!!! So what if he suffers some discomfort - that's life Cause/Reaction. He caused the situation by being an idiot The reaction is FIFA have acted in a way that demonstrates this will not be tolerated. FIFA HAVE to do this - International sponsors WILL NOT put up with this behaviour from a 'professional' Parents with kids now have a lot of explaining to do - how many copycat bites do you expect to see now in Children? If there were statistics, you would see a massive increase. This is NOBODY else's fault apart from Suarez. As for 'precedent' - I doubt anybody had foreseen such an act in a World Cup - leaving FIFA with a blank canvass - they have made a decision and now set a precedent. Anybody else guilty of biting in a FIFA controlled match will now receive the same punishment. I get why you think this is English bias - but it's not - it was a deplorable action on the World Stage. I'm a little sad that you don't actually support this action - most feel FIFA have been lenient. As for the RAWK brigade - they knew it was coming. If I got banned from driving for being an idiot - do you think my employer could lobby for me to still drive to work - NO - the fact that I am banned is my own fault and my employer suffers from hiring an idiot and as such would likely replace me, those are the consequences of my actions...

With teeth like that - I'd guess he was Chief Beaver

Are we sure it's done? Could be another Herrera deal Edit: FFS last time I read the Evening Standard and believe it!!! SSN showing Herrera as signed... Fucking journo's....
-
Yaya definitely wants away from City! Now saying they blocked compassionate leave... Where does he want to go? I'd take him for a season or two
-
25 minutes left for his appeal... In 24 minutes (now) we'll see how big FIFA are
-
Yeah only 27 pages for Roman - the guys a legend... It would be interesting to see that table before he took over... I would have us level with the Spuds... We need a stellar few seasons now to overtake Le Arse...
-
Er... cost €100million - took the Spuds to a new level Yeah he's not amazing - but I'd have him in my team... The guy never gives up...
-
Yeah surely you could argue Aids, Hepatitis - etc?
-
Google him and BEE STING - LMAO He's ok - bit of a dick and most of the televised stuff has been revealed as fake... I'm sure he COULD do it - but if you have the chance not to - why not take it - I know I would
-
Yeah that's my point - FIFA & UEFA need to step in - it's conducted in a football match. If it was a drugs offence it would be worldwide. So the same needs to happen here - global ban - it's the only way, until he's 'rehabilitated'... It has to be a universal ban from all participating bodies - otherwise it's not effective - and any professional body that does not uphold the ban is literally saying 'we do not condone his actions' - which is farcical. I guess this is the problem with having 2 governing bodies...?
-
Agree 100% with all of this... The FIFA PR Spin Guy must be praising Allah, Buddha, God etc.- This is the thing they can use to deflect other criticism... A 12 month ban from all football would be perfect If he doesn't get a ban - I can see 'defenders' forming a boycott 'Union'... not prepared to be bitten... Surely 'BITING' is also an AIDS risk?
-
No risk of International injuries or missing games for pointless friendlies I disagree about the global ban - if it was a drugs test he failed it would apply worldwide. Time to see if FIFA still have balls! It's a great opportunity for them to push out some positive PR after all the negative stories... This is assuming of course that Suarez hasn't already bitten them off Previously banned in Domestic countries twice, now does it on the global stage... Has to be worldwide.... And lengthy e.g. 12 months - as he is not learning ad it WILL happen again...
-
Global 12 month ban - the boy just ain't listening... Suarez 'chomping' his way to victory
-
Uh? Still don't understand how that makes Mou clueless? Are you unhappy with the current signings and speculation? I'm not! We're signing younger players than Utd and already have a platform to build on. Utd are paying mega money on transfers and wages - which is unsustainable. Utd are basically doing what we did 7 years ago - it's a fools promise. I much prefer our new long term sustainable approach. I don't think Utd will finish above us, they have a lot of ground to make up. If they do - fair enough, but I certainly don't think that warrants a 'clueless' comment - especially as it is not Mourinhos decision alone on which players we bring in?
-
I do feel sorry for Oscar - if he plays bad, he's shit! If he plays well - he's a cunt because he was saving himself! LOL - how can he win? Look at some of the other players - they play in the Championship in England, yet they step up and perform (unlike England team) That's what National Pride does - gives you an extra few percent! The lad is still developing and next season is important - he will continually improve - so please lets not slate him too much, he's a young lad living and playing in a new country - things will always be up/down... Plus he will be more heavily marked in the future and needs to adapt his game (this is tough to achieve) - but I'm confident he can do it...
-
Was Beckham overrated? I don't think so - the guy was phenomenal with the ball - sure he couldn't beat players - but that wasnt his game? His game was delivering the ball on a 50p piece anywhere in the box and delivering great set pieces? I would have had him at Chelsea in a heartbeat... No offence to a lot of posters - but it doesn't appear that you have watched the majority of these players in real life, you've just heard they were popular and thought - overrated! As for Ballack he was a great player - had a winning mentality and really helped Chelsea! Veron was probably the worst player in the EPL for big money - yet he wasnt a bad player, just needed too long on the ball. When he went back to Italy - he was still good... (As he had more time on the ball). Bit of a weird thread if you ask me? Especially as everything is so subjective...
-
If Morinho has NO other skills (which is bollox), the one thing he excels at is player confidence - I think Hazard is in the best place possible right now and I think we will see a massive improvement next season, with Fabregas and Costa - Hazard can move the ball around (which he seems to like)...
-
If Robben moves to Utd -.Mou is clueless? Please explain?
-
Lol don't overreact it's Utd - they will bottle it - plus Robben will only play 10 games, injured for the rest
