Lavezzi is the type of winger we need, one that scores goals but his age and price are huge turn offs. Not to mention the fact PSG will want one of our key players in the deal in some way. For the price mentioned, we can do better.

Also the reason for the high price is that apparently PSG acted quickly to ensure they got him ahead of competition from Barca and Bayern, and it is PSG so they have been known to spend very highly to get the player they want.

True but I think sometimes having a player like that is a risk worth taking. None of our strikers are players I would class as annoying shits to the opposition defenders, I feel we need a bully in our side.
