His time at Roma is kind of reminding me of the Batman quote "You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain." Seems like he might want to leave Roma while he's still a legend before Roma go down hill. So that he is remembered for the Roma of the past and not the future Roma.

This is more than likely just lazy journalism. Sneijder played like a beast under Jose at Inter so the media just thinks Jose will want him at Chelsea too. Highly doubt anything will come of it anyway, I don't want his high wages here.

I'll be honest I haven't seen loads of him but I've heard he plays kind of like Torres, I don't mean rubbish Torres but the theory of how Torres plays. Running off defenders, getting in the right position for a clinical finish etc. If thats the case then I don't think he'd be suited to playing for us. Even with all our playmakers I still believe we need someone like Didier, someone who is a presence and makes a defenders life by hell bullying them etc. I believe Cavani is more that type of player than Higuain, hence why I'd prefer Cavani even though his price is much greater.

Tbh I'd prefer Cavani but Higuain is still a decent option. Edit: Another quote "I am leaving Madrid, the decision has been made. I feel the time is right and I want a change of scenery."

I heard talk that we want to unveil him and Jose together. I highly doubt it though since Jose is probably going to be unveiled in the next 3-4 days and I don't think that the De Rossi deal is that close to completion that they would both be able to be unveiled at the same time.

If the price is decent and wages aren't too high then I think this would be a good transfer. He'd fill a role we need filling but he wouldn't be around long enough to hinder the development of someone in that position such as Chalobah. Also he'd provide valuable experience in a young squad, he'd pretty much be like the Ballack transfer.

Seen the quote floating around but I'm unsure of the source. Also that FB page doesn't look that official to me :S But if it is true then this could be a huge step in getting him here. It would also *hopefully* make him play even better with us because he would love the club already thus giving his all and playing his heart out every time he puts on the shirt.
