I hope cech ends his career here, but he would have to accept he may only be our number 1 for another year and a half before curtois would take that role. But Cech would be too good to sit on the bench when he could be a starter in a number of teams. But I can't see curtois waiting 4 years.

Well they have been strong favourites recently so it wouldn't be overly surprising. Oh well shit happens... Klopp would be my next choice other than the special one which seems highly unlikely... Or low actually...

I would love to sign him and he is actually taylor made to play in the pivot unlike some players mentioned who are AM's who could play there.

Yeah, obviously the new manager (if we have one) may want to utilize him more, but as far as i am concerned the main priority for him and us in regards to lukaku is for him to get game time, especially at his age as him making a rare appearance for us won't do us any favours or him.. The problem we may have is that we will be in the same situation in a year and a half probaly with a 28 year old demba ba and maybe even a player like falcao here, which would mean it would still be incredibly difficult to get him regular games... But all that is hypothetical right now and very little good can come of him having another season similar to last season where he rarely got off the bench... If we had just BA here then i would definitely have him here as he would get a lot of game time as our no.2 striker.

I don't see it as a bad thing if he stays at west brom for a bit longer. He is still our player and we have all seen his improvement since having a lot more play time and i would rather him play and get better elsewhere than sit on our bench. Then in a season and a half time hopefully he can step up to our team and play a big role.

I reckon, that has been a good weekend for us in achieving our main aim for this season (top 4), as tottenham and everton drew and arsenal lost... We won obviously and if you had offered me that on friday i would have definitely take it... Lets make them all battle for 1 fourth spot and not drag ourselves into that race for fourth. Of course, the win away vs stoke means very little if we don't get the job done vs southampton. We can still catch up to city in theory and if we win our game in hand we go 4 points behind them i think.

Yeah i know, and thats how it has changed... It used to be that way and players like roy keane made a living doing that. And i don't think there was as much danger as suggested as before he touches the ball his feet are on the ground and stay there throughout the challenge and the second foot is behind the first... He makes it look worse with the little jump he does before going in for the tackle.

I dont even think it was a foul. He came in hard but his studs were down and he got all the ball. He didn't help himself by being square on and when he slid his other leg came through but wasn't near wilshere. I can see an argument for it being a foul but it was never a red.

Someone has got to sort out these rules because how was that a red card... May as well play touch football... That was a great tackle.
